 Yes this has been a strange one. Just prior to placing my post I emailed the seller stating my initial doubts regarding various points and asked for a refund if the item was not genuine, as this was a immediate payment auction. The seller was communicative and stated the bag was purchased from ebay originally, though were not able to give the exact date of purchase. They also mentioned they were willing to refund as they did not want to sell a fake if the case here. I said I would be in contact if I required the refund whilst in correspondance with you guys, however my payment was then refunded without prior notice! I was really excited about getting this bag after my initial doubt was lifted, though am very relieved that I have the refund without any trouble. I did email again and asked if the bag was proven genuine could I continue to rebuy, though have not heard back and since the images have disappeared from the listing!  I agree regarding the handles, although a baby spy the texture of the weave on my own bag is more pronounced, nobbly, somewhat glossy and generally contrasting against the leather of the bag. The handles on the blue spy seemed too uniform, flat and smooth... shame we can't see the bag any more to compare, though do you think this spy is possibly one of those top notch copies? |
