J - they probably won't accept any opinion or reasoning...you may need to open a Paypal claim unfortunately...you might want to tell them that & ask if you can return it for refund before starting a lot of trouble for both of you. PM Accio or I if you need more details.....

It looks pretty good & would say with 90% certainty it is real, but we need to see a picture of a serial # if you can find one imprinted on the lining or pocket interior, to say 100% for sure.

I don't know where the serial number would be located. I have tried looking - but it's an older style. Could it have been rubbed off with heavy use at all?

This is what they say, "THIS IS NOT FAKE. NOW MOST OF THE COMPANIES MAKE THEIR PRODUCTS IN CHINA." Is that true?

While not "Made in China," it's possible that a Fendi bag would still be made by a "Chinese" factory.

There are a significant number of Chinese-owned factories in Italy that employ illegal immigrants from China and other parts of Asia. I know that some Gucci and Prada stuff are made in factories like this, but can't confirm that Fendi is. I guess it's possible but couldn't say for sure.

What's REALLY funny is that I didn't say ANYTHING about it being made in CHINA... The fact that they are saying that their bag IS made in China...well...

Sure, their bag is made in China...it's a real BAG...it's not fake...as in...it's "a" bag...is it a "Fendi"? NO....
