It always rubs me the wrong way when a seller has multiple designer bags for sale in the same auction. She might have one authentic and send you something else. Always get pics of the actual bag you are buying (this includes clear pics of the hologram and leather strip, which this auction lacks. Finally, check out the seller's gnarly feedback.

Thanks Litigatrix . I don't like that the seller has 2 of each bag. I think I am going to pass as the baby spy isn't as bubbly as the one I saw at neiman marcus. I keep wanting to get one cheaper but am thinking of just going for it and buying the one at neiman. I will see if this seller will send me more photos and post them

hi i've come across this fendi baguette and wonder if it's authentic - i've got a couple of baguettes already but this one seems older and not sure about the buckle -

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=024

also to help me in future what are the main points to look for? i prefer if i'm getting something of eBay to get a second hand bag as i feel there's more chance it being genuine (why would someone sell a brand new bag so much cheaper) and i understand that not all the old baguettes have the holographic authenticity tag but what i'm unsure about is the hardware - the one in this link is in big writing but a lot of newer ones i've seen have FENDI made in italy written in small text along the bottom of the main metal badge in the bag? also the serial number query - could some be printed on the actual fabric or should they always be printed on a tag? and sometimes the number on the holographic label is shorter and begins with an A compared to the serial number - are there 2 different numbers? how do i tell if they are authentic - if i type them in to google should it link up to a website or not? thanks - appreciate any help offered xxx

It looks good so far, but we need a photo of interior serial number seller mentions to confirm if it is real or not.

LK - there are so many things we look for, that it cannot be simplified or explained. We ask PFers who would like to learn to watch this thread & see what our calls are on each bag and to submit listings to us on items they may wish to bid on. We definitely don't recommend the silly Google approach (who came up with such anyways??) Also, I have seen a lot of fake bags that were sold as "used items" -- a common ploy of replicas sellers to get buyers comfortable with the sale....

On your python baguette, it looks pretty good so far. We would need to see a serial # usually imprinted on lining or pocket, sometimes on a black ribbon I have seen them also on those with a satin lining.

ZOWIE -- Good eye LIT!! There is something really wrong about this seller, plus the hologram on the regular spy bag they have listed is real blurry, but I think it is one in my fake file, just not clear enough. With the new FEEDBACK system - a seller with horrible fback will get 100% positive if they have not sold in a year....

Hello
here are some new pics the seller sent me of both the baby spys together and the reason she has so many to sell. All thoughts appreciated!!

Here is her response to my emails:
I apologize as the flash sometimes makes it blurry. I tried it without the flash and I hope these are clearer. I don't understand your question about the other baby spy? Would you like to see pictures of them together to ensure they are both identical and brand new? That would be no problem. Would it be ok if I emailed these to you? I'm maxed out at 12 pictures and I don't want buyers to assume I am selling these bags together.

I purchased these bags with the intent to sell. I have to admit I end up keeping a couple for myself but I mainly want the credit card points and rewards :)

Please rest assured that I guarantee the authenticity of all my bags and I would never buy or sell fakes. I hope this helps... Please feel free to contact me with any other questions!

Nothing comes up when you click on your photos....but Lit & I gave our comments & if you believe seller's comments on "Credit Card" points...I have some beach front swamp land in Florida I'd like to sell you, along with a Bridge or Two...

OMG! Thanks. I was interested in her Fendi bag and Prada key holder. I asked her if she guaranteed the authenticity and she confirmed they all were 100% authentic and her feedbacks proved it.

You need to upload the pics to a site such as photobucket to link to them. You can't do it directly from your e-mail.
