You can get an authentic one from an authorized retailer: Jefferies (formerly known as Bob Ellis Shoes) located in Atlanta, GA for $3990.00. As long as you don't live in Georgia, there wouldn't be any sales tax!

Hi ladies, I just bought this older Fendi and I'm 99% sure it's authentic (I got it from a very sweet PFer), but I really don't know what to look for on an authentic Fendi Zucca bag. I'm interested in learning more because I'd like to get a few accessories for this bag and it seems like almost all the Zucca print bags on eBay are fakes (at least seller feedback seems to indicate that). Could you ladies let me know what I should be looking for on an authentic bag? Like I said, I don't doubt the bag's authenticity, I would just like to know what to look for. Thank you in advance! Oh, PS, the bag does have a serial number stamped in gold on the inside pocket: 2354/26569/089.

Hey there - looks great to me - the serial number sequence seems in line with Fendi.

Hey - she is pretty confident about the bag, and it looks good to me. Greendrv mentioned something about the yellow tags before, you may want to ask her to be sure. I would say though it's a great bag and looks fine.

Actually, I think it's a fake!
1) The zucca lining isn't right
2) The serial format isn't correct for an SS 06 bag (it should all be on one line with a double letter beginning)
3) The leather doesn't look right either (texture, grain)
4) The overall shape isn't right
5) The seller sells "inspired" bags.
6) The dustbag is white: it should be black with yellow/gold FENDI letters.

I'd stay away from this auction.

This one actually looks pretty good from the pics in the auction, but I can't make a positive determination without pics of the hologram serial tag, leather serial tag, and a closeup of the authenticity tag. Having a receipt doesn't mean anything these days because all of the fake handbag sellers have fake receipts (ioffer sells them by the dozens).
