Does anyone know if a book or website has ever been produced that contains pics of Baguette designs back to 1997? I've built up quite a collection of these iconic bags over the past couple of years and I'm trying to date them. I can find pics of some of the latest designs but not the earlier ones. Thanks!!!

You must share these pictures!!

I've recently started getting into baguettes and I've been searching all over the net to find different styles, and I just want to see more, more, more! lol

Speaking of Baguettes has anyone heard of the Fendi Maxi Baguette? I'm in LOVE with it and am contemplating buying it but I believe it's been out for a few years now and I'm having a hard time finding it... What are your thoughts on this bag?

I have a lot of baguettes as well (love them! want to get some more of the offbeat ones), and I have a beautiful one I got off ebay. It is pre-owned, but it is black mesh with a dark brown leather strap and a mother of pearl buckle. So pretty... I would love to be able to date that one.

I think it's not out until October so hopefully it'll drop a bit. I should upload a pic from the Rizzoli catalogue...it looks a lot more interesting than that cover.

Hi all,

Sorry if this question has already been asked, but I couldn't find it anywhere on the search engine.

The reason I'm opening this thread is to get to know the small details of the Baguette.

My first question is: Do all baguettes have square magnetic locks? Or can they have circular locks too? Does it differ with each model (selleria etc?)

Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

TIA :)

I just received the book today. The only way I could get it was to order the Italian print version, but that is fine with me for now. I just want to say this book contains some of the most breathtaking pics of handbags I have ever seen. I have a fairly large collection of fashion/designer coffee table books, and this one is by and far one of the best I have so far. There are a good amount of life size pics and the photography is simple but gorgeous. A wonderful reference book or something to just look over and drool I added some pics with a baguette to give an idea of the size of the book, it's huge!

Thanks for the pics!...I'm debating whether to get one or not. (The last LV book I bought was a bit of a disappointment.) Now I want a baguette!
