Thanks Vlad... but unfortunately... according to search, i'm not a member?

I used to search for my own username to keep track of the threads i've posted on, but it told me 'no results found', and my username doesn't pop up under the field like it used to.

^^ related to this same issue "Search by User" feature. When I do a search say by DesigningStyle with key words Belem--it does not limit the search to posts by DesigningStyle. Instead it brings back all posts where Belem is mentioned. It is totally disregarding that "Search by User" part. Is this being worked on? When I do a search for "the perfect man" it always comes up with:-

1. Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.

I believe the search for user feature is fixed. Now working on the other bugs.

^^nope, not for me. I'm assuming you mean where you put in your username in the search box.........cuz that's still not working.

The indexer is working as well, we should be displaying the latest posts (with a 10 minute delay, max.) as search results. Again, if there's problems, let me know in detail.

Search by username is still not working for me, but I love the feature where you can start typing a name and it shows the members whose screen names start with those letters. Regular search does seem to be working just fine though.

yes, I love the intelli-sense thingy. too bad it doesn't work when you hit enter. search does not return results.

steps to recreate:

1. enter a known username in the User Name field of the "Search by User Name" (e.g. Vlad).
2. leave other values to the preselected ones and hit enter.

even if you uncheck the "Exact name" checkbox, it still does not return results.
