Yes, please add a Dooney forum! Now that Dooney has put out some really nice bags, I think we could keep a Dooney forum going.

Are you ready Steve?
There are several brands in the Contemporary Forum that don't seem all that active either. Tano? Never heard of them. Botkier? Never seen anyone carry one. Kooba? Really? Unless there is a certain limit to the size of the forum, I don't get why so much resistance to D&B.

we close forums that are dead. D&B had it's own forum and was dead.as.a.doornail.
Like cobwebs and everything, lol!
We've recently closed a forum or 2.

I'd totally join a D&B forum! Their more recent bags are divine!

I agree that they have revamped many of their bags quality alike. Unfortunately I don't think that opening a sub would garner more attention than before. Like Swanky mentioned, it was very quiet and not a lot going on. I don't think it would change, sadly.

I agree. . . Vladi moves slow though, lol! We don't need a few of the ones we have any more. There's no "resistance" to D&B though. Fact is we tried it, it wasn't as busy as people expected

I vote a resounding YES to a Dooney category/forum.

With the introduction of Florentine (Vachetta) bags, there has been much renewed interest. I'm sure ur familiar with the thread about the Vachetta Satchel that has been out beaten to death and there's new ladies getting on the bandwagon every day. I have quite a few super nice Florentine bags as well as classic Dooney that I'd like to discuss, but I refuse to post in the super long thread and I'm not going to fish for any other loose Dooney threads. I think the bag deserves a second chance due to renewed popularity. With the introduction of bags to QVC it has not diminished Dooneys reputation it has only gained them more customers. Think Apple...

I'm fairly new to this whole forum and I see a LOT of dead categories from bags that I know a lot of ladies have never seen or heard of, whether they admit it or not. I think it's awful funny how those stay open with little to no activity and Dooney is closed. When I first entered this forum my only thought was that perhaps this community as a whole didn't figure Dooney was "high end" enough to b included, but then I saw the huge thread so I know that can't b the case....
not from the community anyway. I say please open ur eyes and this forum to another Dooney category!
