The only option on there, is to upload pictures, but doesn't give me access to the ones I've already uploaded?

Anyone?

Many thanks,

I'm not sure I'm understanding your problem K. Are you sure you cant just upload them again to the other post? As you can see from above it let me upload the same photo twice in seperate posts. Also, I uploaded the same photo even in a different thread! Located here: http://forum.purseblog.com/site-feed...tml#post519310.

You dont need to go to User CP every time. Just go to the thread you want to upload your photo in and -

  • Click Browse and when you've added every picture (each picture in their own slot/line) click Upload!
  • Then close the Upload window and Post and you're done!

Thanks, I think the problem, is that I don;t have the original pics on my pc any more, and I think I tried to download back on to my pc from the forum pic, and it downloaded, but wouldn't open as it said the format was wrong!

I'll give it another go, Thanks for getting back to me!

Ah, okay. I see where youre coming from. Thats weird that the forum would change the format. If you want, I can convert them back to .jpeg for you or you could just do that on your computer if you have Paint.

You could also just go to where you have them uploaded on tPF and use the URL and then use the [img] tag to post the picture without having to upload the same picture over and over again.

If you need help, I am here!

Still can't find the "manage attachments" button under the "attach file" section of the first method. Went to the instructions for the second method. Clicked on the paperclip but nothing happened.

When you click on Post Reply, you can see the button when you scroll down. Maybe your browser is blocking popups?

Ladies please help. I know how to attach photo. My problem is when I resize my photos to 195.3 KB which is the maximum filesize acceptable, the picture is too small. How do other people manage to attach bigger pics??? thanks

There is a problem with the file format, then. You probably saved your picture as .bmp which doesn't compress the image at all. Try saving it as JPG, and apply a 20% optimization (Usually a quality setting of 80) when saving. That way, you'll be able to upload a bigger picture.
