Important: Something wrong with search?
Hi-
Everytime I search for threads started by me I am getting a slew of threads NOT started by me. Something to do with upgrade? When you find an issue, please report as much information possible with a lot of details and links (most important). Something like I go to my profile and click on the link (link included), I go to advanced search, search for keyword "gucci bag" and display the results as posts, etc. is very helpful to identify what pages you are viewing. I'm a technical guy, not a purse connaisseur and I don't know anything about this forum except how the code behind is built. For example, if you tell me to go visit Chanel WTS forum and you don't include a link to that forum, I will never be able to do it because I don't know where is it. |

Scratch that , if you go from the left (from my avatar) it works but if I use the "search this forum" it doesn't.

hmmm my "posts by luvhautecouture" is not bringing up everything I have posted... I know I posted a lot on the swine flu post, but none of those are coming up!

I'm having a crazy problem with the search, too.. I was searching for "clinique" in the review & request thread in the BB and it gave me 2 or 3 results from that thread and then a TON of unrelated threads from every forum on here.

Here's a screen shot if it's helpful at all.. note that the first two results are from the right forum but after that it's chaos. My screen isn't big enough to capture more than 3 results at a time, though.

I am having the same problem, when I search my posts, it lists a couple of posts written by me to start with, but after there are all sorts of posts posted by others that appear on the list.
There is something wrong, definately |

Thanks a lot for reporting the issues. Cedes, please include also a link in your posts so I can check it.
For example, when you mention the review & request thread, post a link to it also. I have no idea where is that thread or the forum in question. :)

I click on my username (top of screen right hand side) click "show all statistics" click "show all posts by edithw" Usually it lists all my posts but recently it shows on the top of the list a few of my recent posts but than goes on listing posts from other users |

Thanks for the detailed information. :) I went to your profile and I can see all your posts (109), nothing from other members... This is weird. I will wait for Vlad to come back from the getaway... I don't want to change anything to the settings without his OK. I don't know where he went but his cell does not answer... I will create a regular user and try it again. In the same time, can anyone else visit Edith's profile and let me know if they see mixed posts (from other users)? Please keep them coming the errors or issues you encounter. Regards, |
