I use photoshop to edit all my photos to get professional looking ones. The other option is to use auctiva. They are a free listing service and you can watermark all your photos in one batch.

You can watermark here free if you don't have photoshop:

You could also print a card with you user name on it and take all your pictures with it

once you have successfully completed the download open the program, go to file-open locate your photo graphs and then go to image resize resample. you can also rotate your photographs. a good size is 450 by 600. or you can go larger if you want.

this is when you can watermark your photos. first- left click on your mouse to create a rectangle over your photo, then go to edit-insert text into your selection. there are options to choose your font, size, and color of your text.

then after you are satisfied with it, don't forget to save!

I know you can change the font/color but how do you make the letters appear "see through" like so many people do? I can't figure this part out!!! I don't see an option for "clear." haha.

what progrma are you using?
In Photoshop, it's the opacity you adjust, making the font more or less transparent.

I have ArcSoft's PhotoImpression, and Microsoft "Picture It" that I use. I am trying to find any kind of "opacity" adjustment. Would that option be under the font tabs? Where would I find it?

I don't know about those 2. . . I doubt Picture It! comes w/ anything that comprehensive to be honest.

is there ANY free software to watermark pictures on a Mac? i know I should watermark my pictures, but I never do because I'm on a Mac and I don't see a watermarking option in iPhoto.

I visited the link that lorihmatthews posted, but there was nothing there (i think it must have expired since it's been awhile..).

anyway, i heard of iWatermark, but you have to pay for that...

..if there is any free watermarking software, i would like to try that first....so if anybody knows of free watermarking software for the Mac, i'm all ears! :)
