That is also what I initially thought! Because in some posts I noticed some of the members saying things about hiding bags or their husbands having to tolerate bag purchases (things on those lines). So I thought they considered their husbands Dumb hubby for not understanding...

Then I noticed some threads with other members complimenting their husbands tastes in buying bags. THEN I realized it meant darling husband or now dear husband.

This directory is very helpful for us who is new here.

FI = I think this is Fiance Intended
MIL = mother in law
FMIL = future MIL
SIL/FIL/BIL = the other inlaws

BF = boyfriend
BFF = best female friend, or best friend forever
