When do most people pay?

When I purchase things on eBay I pay immediately 99% of the time.. If I don't plan to pay within 5 minutes of the auction ending then I will email them before I even bid to let them know/ask if it is okay...

I've sold a few things on eBay and I would say most people pay whenever they feel like it and don't let you know when it will be!

I've also had the experience of talking to many many many customers every day for about a year while I worked at PayPal and really can't understand the thoughts that go through some of their minds.. Most of them plan on paying, think that you will wait forever, and just pay whenever the heck they feel like it..

I also ran across a lot of people who would want an item, have no idea how eBay worked so they would just bid on like 10 different items and figured they would only win 1, and that once they won they could just retract their bid from the others or that eBay would magically know that they only wanted the first one that they won and eBay would cancel the bids for them...

But more often than not, I would have to say people just take a long time to pay.. but will pay you
