Default What you to do if buyer did not contact after auction was for 4 days?
Hi, I sold prada shoes 69.99 plus 29 shipping ship to Mexico. on ebay on last Wednesday. Until today I did not received any email from the buyer. What I should do? files she as non-payment.? or wait another 2 more days. I am so tired to email and send invoice her every day. But got nothing from her.

She has seven days to pay per fBay rules, so there's no point in sending emails and invoices every day, which could freak her out. BUT, all she had to do is communicate with you to avoid that. If she hasn't paid after seven days, report her as a non-paying bidder so you can get the FVFee back and relist your shoes.

If and when she does pay, be sure you send to only a confirmed PP address and send with signature delivery confirmation to prove it gets there. Hope this works out OK and keep us posted.
If you said in your listing you don't ship international, you may be able to cancel the transaction? She does have 7 days to pay before you can file a NPB (non-paying bidder)

FYI - I don't know if your shoes are new or used, but you CANNOT ship used clothing to Mexico. It will be rejected by customs... I tried shipping a blouse to Mexico once and it was rejected for that reason.

^ Wow, I didn't know that. Reason #1,364 to not do international transactions...

OK, then if you feel comfortable, I recommend you not mention anywhere on the customs form or inside the box that the shoes are used. Otherwise you'll have a whole new hassle on your hands. Good luck!

Yup, I was stunned when the item was returned back to me by customs (I wrote "used blouse" on the customs form, the item did look brand new). I paid the cost to re-send it back to the buyer since I didn't think it was her fault that I wasn't aware of the import restriction.

Imagine how much fun people must have when they just want to ship some of their own personal belongings to themselves if they're from Mexico. (Though I suspect if you're Mexican you probably already know of work arounds for this matter.)

hi, I just got email from buyer. She said she out of the town.. But she still not pay yet. haha. I send invoice to her everyday. because want to make sure she got email. since past 3-4 days I didnt got any email to confirm how to pay or still want the item. I and my husband never put Un-paid to buyer. just tell us the problem if you need them or don't need them. so We can relist the item. But she think we are rude. because My husband wrote email to her yesterday "Do you plan on paying for your purchase or do you just cost me sales fees from Ebay and then don't pay?
We are traveling next week. I suggest you pay now! Please communicate!"

She think we are rude. haha. then she email INMEDIATLY..

Normal I always detail the item the buyer or winner please email us how to pay within 24-36 hours. but you don't need to pay within 24-36 hours. We can wait 1-2 weeks or a month. Just need a confirmation only. But this time I didn't wrote it. but I send invoice and wrote this message to buyer. since her never check email at all.
And this week I will out of the town for a week I just worry I can't ship within the times.

I don't want to ship to international now. Last week I sold Tod's thong shoes to Thailand. I put shipping is 29$ becuase it just a small shoes. but cost to ship as priority to thailand is 42$ so expensive.
Next time I would not ship out USA.

I would file a NPB and be done with her.. she is just stalling and giving you the

run around.. you have sent enough e-mails reminding her a payment is due.. she

knows that she has to pay you.. if she does decide to pay.. would take a pic of the

shoes and only ship to a confirmed address with signature and delivery confirmation..

I give everyone 3 days to either contact me so I know when they are paying, and I do work with people if it is in a noraml amout of time and they have asked first, or to pay, then it is shipped.
I say relist, and file a nonpaying bidder form.

She won't have a confirmed address in Mexico. No one outside of the US or UK has one. PayPal's seller protection would likely still apply - you'd see whether it applies or not in transaction details on PayPal.

If you file a NPB, she will be notified and given 7 or 8 days to pay; faced with that she might give in an pay. If not - too bad; you don't need that kind of a customer.

EDIT: I wouldn't relist before the NPB claim had been resolved one way or another.
