Well, I just checked her listing and there are still 0 bids with 22 hours left on her auction. A part of me hopes that she gets her starting price at least so that the whole matter can be over with. I think that she will re- list hers at .99 if it doesn't sell, but hey, that's what eBay is all about isn't it??

I still can't get over the fact that she asked you to end your listing. Pound sand is right!!

This seller isn't crazy, she is crooked and unethical.

Your response was polite, which is the way to do business.

Frankly, I wouldn't waste my time having contact with this treacherous person again, and I would keep copies of any contact.

Her request to you was so terribly wrong I can't even find the words...

I would go through eBay's contact us pages. There is an option to report another user that's doing something you suspect not right on ebay. Here's the link:
http://ebay-us.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/...ect=&p_lva=131

Under the choose a topic pull down menu choose "misuse of eBay". When you choose that topic, another pull down menu will appear. Choose "report a user" option. You'll get a screen where you fill in the other user's id, the item number of theirs, and a large text box to input the details. Cut and paste her email to you and your item number. eBay needs to know what she did. It's such a big no no. eBay considers something like that interfering with another seller's listings.

Honestly, I would report her to eBay. What she has asked you to do is completely unethical.

What the seller is doing is more than unethical! What she is asking for you to do MIU2 is violate e-Bay's policies. In her e-mail to you she says ".... in return I will put you incontact with the second bidder down". What she is suggesting is that you contact her second bidder off e-Bay and sell to the second bidder. How reprehensible! I would report her and send that e-mail to e-Bay!

I received this msg from her:
Hi,
I listed the same bag 6 days ago and it finished in 2 days. I was wondering if you would end the listing, in return I will put you incontact with the second bidder down.
It is just really disheartening as my listing has now been a complete waist of money and time.
The out come will then be that I will have to re-re-list my bag after your listing and then you don't get as much as you would..we both loose.

I replied with this:
I'm sorry but you are offering the larger sized *********. Mine is the medium sized one.

Her response:

Her response:

That's fine. I am sure you didn't intend t do what you have done, I just always
check things like that before I list items for fairness to all. However I am
going away and need to get sell it.

Should it not sell unfortunately I will be forced to re-list it as you have,
which is not in either of our interest as no one get the optemum price.

Do you think that I am being unreasonable or bitchy about this? I mean, I am just trying to sell my bags as quickly as I can and have never had anyone ask me to take my listing down so that they can sell their bags first. I know that I would never ask someone to do this.
What would you do???
What would you do?
Oh god! I never would have even answered the other seller, what nerve! It's called "competition" HElloooooo that's what eBay is all about! I hope you keep your auction up!
