wow!!! she's CRAZY to even ask you to do that.

don't feel guilty about it.. like others have already mentioned... business is business... as much as we want to make a profit on eBay... there will be/there are other sellers who will sell the same item we have up for auction too.

I was thinking the same thing or she may bid on it herself using a different id and then never pay for it just to be spitefull

I used to have a mindset that anyone on eBay who sent me a polite msg was therefore an "ebay friend." But I am finally coming to terms that for the most part, no one on ebay is really your friend, unless you actually know them from somewhere else.

You did the right thing, always have in your mind business is business.

I'd worry about retaliation too. Gosh, how strange of her to ask.

I forgot to add that you also may lose your chance to relist since eBay is limiting a lot of sellers on number of designer goods they're allowed to list per month. If you take it down or revise that goes against your total allowed (if you are restricted). If you're not restricted, it may cause you to be or you may be later (who knows why they chose whom they do).

That's crazy! I would think eBay would consider that auction interference. Maybe someone else knows for sure. But that is absolutely ridiculous for her to expect that you won't try to sell your item just because she has something similar.

This is just like McDonalds asking Burger King or Wendys not to put a store next to them or across the street. What an idiot.

You are not being unreasonable, but SHE is! I cannot even imagine asking another seller to end their auction so I can sell mine first! She had the choice of how she wanted to list hers, and what price she wanted to put on it, and she made her choice! And I just love how she throws in the guilt trips and the threats that neither one of you will get the best price for the bag...is she psychic?

BTW, HEY THERE!!! I grew up about 20 minutes from you in the Hemet area!
Small world isn't it?? Hemet is really growing in leaps 'n bounds now!!

I've blocked her from my eBay listings, hope that is the end of that.
