Default What should I say on feedback?

I sold a coach keyfob in MAY and they buyer took until the 8th day of my dispute to pay saying they forgot all about it. I sent it.. took my time too, lol. I took about 4 days to send it.. I waited until other stuff ended.. I didn't want to make a special trip for the person that forgot she bought something. Well, now I know I have to leave a positive but should I say they took forever to pay? Should I leave none at all?

at least they paid - people who don't use eBay often do forget to log back in sometimes...

I would probably say something like "paid after dispute opened". The whole point of FB is to let other eBay users know what they're dealing with... and as hard as it is for sellers, I think you should say something. Has she left you FB?

Don't get me wrong, I am happy they actually paid but I waited the 7 days.. then opened the dispute and then 8 days later when I was going to close the dispute they finally had paid that day. I sent several emails during that time.. so I guess along with not logging in they also did not check their email the whole time either I guess with the old feedback system I would have left a neutral but now that I can't it just seems unfair to only be able to leave a positive or nothing. The person seemed nice enough but as a buyer I would not expect someone to be all happy with me if I took that long to pay for something.

Hm..I would just say that in the feedback. Other people that deal with her still deserve to know, even though it's unfortunatley helping her FB score.

No.. I bet she would neg me if I even said she took a long time to pay. I know she paid at least but to make someone wait 15 days is not cool, haha.

I am a nice seller too.. I don't mind waiting 7 days, that's how long eBay gives to pay... I will open a dispute after 7 days is up though...

Yeah, it's a tough spot. They've basically taken away sellers' ability to be responsible to the eBay community and let other sellers know who is good to do business with and who isn't.

If she leaves FB, leave honest FB. If she doesn't, just leave something noncommittal or none at all I guess.

I wouldn't leave feedback for her until she leaves it for you. Eye for an eye, I guess.

If you're that concerned about being honest in your FB to her and her giving you a negative as a result, then wait until she leaves it for you. If she never does, which sounds like she's not exactly a frequent eBay user, then perhaps she won't even realize that leaving FB is an etiquette.

If she never does, then don't leave for her. Especially if it took her that long to pay.

I would not leave feedback. Maybe one day the buyer will, then you will not have to worry what you want to write. There is too much risk these days that the buyer will leave a neg or neutral. Then it is unfair to you b/c you still trying to sell more of your bags.

Yeah, I guess no feedback for her is better than a positive for her. I will leave no feedback for now.

I wouldn't leave feedback now. Wait and see if she does.

And with the new system, even saying she paid after dispute might get you a neg.

I started leaving no feedback unless the buyers do.
