I'm really hoping the SA at Louis Vuitton was incorrect. As I said, there wasn't a single thing fishy with the bag, the listing, the seller, etc.. Everything seemed legitimate & authentic - and I was truly shocked when the SA told me it was fake. Luckily they didn't confiscate it (well, can they ever do that if it's not real????). Anyway, now I just need to take my own pictures & get it authenticated online this week.
I've contacted the seller today and will give him/her 2 business days to respond and see what they have to say. I'm not going to accuse them of selling me a fake bag [just yet] until I get it authenticated online - however I'm truly hoping they understand my concern & will stay in contact with me until I get it sorted out.
Also, if it comes down to it; there's a 120 day time frame for credit card chargebacks (at least with my company)..and I'm safely within the limit.
