I remember seeing this post when it first came out. I had no idea many people were affected by it. So my questions are: Did the people who were involved get together and do something about it? If so did anything happen to her cause of this? I see that she filed bankruptcy but I assume this wasn't because of her *bay scams. Did any actions come about from these *bay scams???

Okay, I've just been accused of being this Romie Omie chick on EBAY. I will put a link to my BBag that I have up on EBAY. Apparently, a super sweet girl posted the link yesterday and had it authenticated and sent me a little message of support. I just want to clarify...I do live in Oklahoma...Midwest City. My last name is BARNETT. I am in no way, shape, or form related to this Romie Omie devil person. I would not ever rip someone off. I am selling my bag for two reasons: One, I am in chemotherapy and my medical bills are OUTSTANDINGLY high due to insurance being ass****s and not paying for what they should and I want my children to have a decent Christmas. Two, my ex-troll-of-a-husband who used to buy things to make up for abuse bought this for me in NYC at a Balenciaga boutique while on business. There, I said it. I had wanted to keep my personal life just that...personal. I am new to EBAY and I will never sell anything on EBAY ever again. I am in chemo and have had to deal with people sending me rude comments and questioning my legitemacy (spelling?). I understand with 0 feedback it is hard to trust someone selling a Balenciaga on EBAY...I get that! But, there is no need to make rude comments to someone you don't even know. I am not posting this and directing it at anyone on TPF...please don't think I'm trying to be rude. I just want those who visit my website and also are members of TPF to realize that I am absolutely not going to rip anyone off. The purse is authentic and I will send it to the highest bidder! Thanks for listening and sorry for the venting! I've visited this site for the last couple of months and it is a wealth of information. You guys rock!

Misty, It will be very hard to sell a BBag on ebay with zero feedback. Whether anyone thinks that you are Romie-Omie or not, there are very few people willing to risk buying a big ticket item from someone with no track record. If you really need the money, you might try listing it with Ann's Fabulous Finds or another consignment seller.

I'm sorry you were mistaken for this terrible woman who scammed many members out of a lot of money.

I'm sure some tpf members were being just being cautious and thinking of others.

Unfortunately you live in OK and have a similar name. If you have the time to read all of the posts on this thread, perhaps you will understand clearer.

wow, how horrible, sorry to all who were affected. I still love to shop at ebay but there are people out there who are willingly taking on a big karmic debt.

wow, I just read this whole thing. I am so shocked and appalled at this horrid person. I hope that she comes to justice and everyone is refunded appropriately.

What I do appreciate is being a part of an amazing community and I have seen it so clearly in this thread.
