The MO is to build up feedback w/ legitimate transactions and then go in for the "kill".

I sent this seller a message (through eBay's ask seller a question),

"Romie-Omie???????!!!!!!!!!!"

Within a few minutes, seller pulled her listings.

Never responded to my question.

Can someone who has dancing*in*my*manolos real personal info please PM me? After reading these 85 pages I'm too overwhelmed to figure out what her real name is.

Maybe we should also start a new thread with her most recent eBay ID also?

And, a fake Bbag she sent out earlier this week was mailed from Oklahoma (where Romie Omie lived) although her address says it is TX.

Ohhhh Myyyy Goshhhh! She's back - that is just awful. Why didn't she go to jail for all of her past scams?????

Yes, I think you should start a new thread with her most recent eBay ID in the thread title. And I think you should state what has happened with your purchase. If the mods don't want it, they can revise or close the thread. I think everyone needs to be warned about this immediately!

Here's a excerpt from interesting article about eBay fraud (in this case fake Hollywood memorabilia being sold on ebay) but doesn't it relate to this case here???Speaking of "posse mentality", wouldn't they love to meet the Purse Forum gang!!!!:

"Auction fraud is the most commonly reported crime online, according to the federal Internet Crime Complaint Center, also known as the IC3. As local police and auction houses struggle to keep up, bands of citizens increasingly are stepping into the gap and making what amount to cyber citizen arrests.
"Our speculation is that the posse mentality can take care of these situations faster than the host can," said Craig Butterworth, a spokesman for the National White Collar Crime Center, which jointly administers the IC3 with the FBI.
In some cases, law enforcement encourages citizen investigators. Detective Alex Moreno of the Los Angeles Police Department's computer crimes unit said leg work by victims can make a case more attractive to officers who prioritize "voluminous" complaints of auction fraud by the number of victims and the amount of money lost."

The "ending" has yet to be written, sadly. She's reinvented herself as "pretty*bubbles" and who knows whom else?

Pretty*bubbles took down her listings Friday.
She knows we are on to her.
We're pretty certain eBay seller Pretty*bubbles is RO discussed here in this thread.

Monaco-Babe is a completely different scammer (located in France)
We have not had any information on her within the last few mos as her id's are all suspended.
If you're interested in her, see my links in signature.

Shame on me..I didn't know pretty*bubbles is Romie-Omie..I bought something from her last month. It turned out to be a successful transaction and authentic. I paid her via Paypal and her name is..........B_ _ _ _ _ A_ _ _ _ _.

I don't know if she's using her real name (but is her real name anyways?)..I am typing while I'm figuring out where the package came from..which now scares me!!! I just now realized that is definitely from her... a PO Box address from Oklahoma! Yikes!!!

^^^ Not sure how far you read back, but there are court cases pending against her that are pretty serious... guess she also filed bankruptcy (I love public info LOL)

What's weird is that the court cases are filed under B_ _ _ _ _ N _ _ _ _ _ .... But we know she has aliases!

Well. She would log onto eBay and respond to her positive feedbacks but continue to ignore any messages she got from her buyers. I'm really curious about who bidded on that Violet GGH Work, the first item of her scam plot.

Yeah! I'm curious to find out about outcome too! If she got her monies etc...
I know this is very serious and sad case for all the victims but for others its cautionary and interesting story!!! Sort of e-book I guess.
Also makes me think how lucky I didn't scammed on eBay!!

Good luck for victims and I really do hope you all will get your monies back and scammer will meet her match oneday!!
