It may depend on where you live? Since it's on the Oklahoma Supreme Court Network (OSCN.net) , where she lives, I have to assume it's correct. They've at least stricken it until she files. She's had to prove her intent to file, most likely. She already has a huge lawsuit against her from BOA and they're taking garnishments from her check already. I'm sure they will be included in the bankruptcy. Anyone who was/is awarded judgment prior to her filing can be included (except government agencies such as student loans, etc.) I'm not an attorney, but this is what I was told regarding a lawsuit I filed against a builder who then filed bankruptcy.

I have a terrible sinking feeling she is going to be able to walk away from all the harm she caused...I wonder what, if anything, happened with all the tPF's claims to the Okla. DA (is that the right term - the office that the victims were supposed to call) about internet fraud, etc.

Unfortunately for RO, debt due to fraud is not dischargable in bankruptcy court! Any of RO victims, who read this, if you HAVE NOT CALLED THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE IN THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA, please do so and file your complaint. Any victim who HAS FILED a complaint and receives a notice of bankruptcy also forward the summons to the Atty General's office in Oklahoma and make sure they receive a copy of the notice!!!!!!

I have been reading this thread and I've been trying to keep up w/ it... This is probably a stupid question but did the buyers do chargebacks? I thought buyers could easily file a chargeback and get their money back?

Good luck to all that were scammed. I really do empathize every single person's situation.

Some of the people got refunded through Google Checkout(she was cleverly doing off-eBay deals), but I only remember three of those. Were there any more refunds??
CitCat maybe you could start a new thread about the victims reporting to Okla. Att. General's office, etc (as per your post above). Or they may not let us use another thread on this old topic???????

For those who are following information on the perpetrator on OSCN.net, you'll want to know that the Oklahoma Supreme Court is looking to make less information available to the public on its site. They are going to require that people to drive to the court house to access certain records. I can understand redacting social security numbers...but I don't know how far they really plan to go. Nevermind, I was looking under the wrong name. She filed bankruptcy on March 7, 2008. Funny, her list of creditors does not include any of you who were scammed by her. The creditor's meeting, where she must be available to answer questions under oath, is being held April 8th.

Holy Crap! I've skipped past this thread and just popped in to see why it was so huge. OMG, I would NEVER have thought someone would be callous enough to do this to such sweet ladies.
