Wow. I'm exhausted from reading this post. Now I'm really never buying a purse on ebay... I feel awful for all of you who were scammed and I hope that we really bring this perp to justice. We are even better at this than some of those TV shows (to catch a predator)... What excellent PI work you've all done. I know it might be months before the "case is closed" and we get an update, but I can't wait to see justice served.
Best of luck to all involved... |

Wow - I got a little behind on reading this thread (had the flue earlier in the week) and just caught up - so much has happened - glad to hear it's progressing and that at least a few of you guys have gotten your money back. It certainly sounds like the OK law AG is actually taking some action which is very good. I'd love to hear how this turns out. KAOkim - I pm'd you for that info. TIA

I know this is making me sound like the obsessed creature I became over this story, but is there ANY info that anyone out there can share??? This thread is getting buried in "yesterday's news"!!!!! I read the whole thread over again last night (talk about obsessed not to mention time consuming) and it made me wonder Why, why and what is happening now??

I believe there was a recent post a page or so back that mentioned the appropriate authorities were contacted, and once a case is filed, the persons involved are not able to speak about it. My suggestion is to just keep checking back and see when there is a posting that tells us all that --ROMIE-OMIE is in JAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really think though, we can all be rest assured that something IS being done. Had it not been, there would be more posts from the victims. So, in this case, no news is the BEST news.

I hope everything is going good. I've been reading this thread from day one. I'm just in shocked how someone can decieve so many innocent people. I'm also in shock how some of the tpfers got this rolling with so many evidence to evenutally catch her.
I've been trying to figure out to read search articles on her using the link that was provided but can't seem to find anything. Can someone PM me on how to do this. Keep up the good work ladies! |

I've been following this thread, but just don't have the time or patience to read the whole thing thoroughly. But I'm going to add my story here in case it helps anyone.
This same seller also scammed me in January, too. I paid for a Bal bag that I saw her relist over the course of a few weeks (the re-list mentioned a non-paying bidder). I did my research, bid, won, paid immediately through Google checkout. This was the first time I used Google Checkout, more on this later. I didn't hear from the seller for several days after. I sent a few emails asking for a confirmation/tracking number. She gave me an excuse about the money not being posted to her account right away (not true), then a tracking number that didn't work (more excuses, which turned out to be lies). After repeated emails asking her for a correct tracking number, more excuses, then silence, then automated replies saying she was having a family emergency, and so on. This was approaching 30 days after I won the auction. Around the same time, I was also having close communication with *Bay and Google Checkout. I've been through this before with *Bay, but dealing with Google Checkout was interesting because they have fewer resources (easily accessible ones) for buyers on their site. There is very little to no documentation about non-fulfillment issues - what to do if you don't receive the item you've paid for. I sent them countless emails asking them pointed questions about my rights as a buyer, telling them this whole experience was awful, and I would never use their service again. I got canned responses back from them telling me to "contact the seller." After some strongly worded emails to me to Google Checkout, I got a response from them (they never answered any of my questions about buyers rights, etc., mind you), saying they had contacted the seller and would be refunding my money within a week. In a week it was all over, I got my money back. It was surprisingly easy, but I'm still appalled that Google Checkout doesn't have more documentation about buyer's rights. I went to *Bay to leave negative feedback for the seller, but by this time she had made her feedback private. I left her negative feedback anyway. And I also wrote to *Bay telling them I didn't agree with the function to make feedback details private. At the least, this person cannot sell on *Bay. |

per se, I am so glad you joined the purse forum and found this thread! First of all, you are going to love this forum and the unlimited information for us girls who love our purses. The members are so nice and helpful too.
I am so sorry that you, too, got scammed by this person. At least you got your money back, and you could possibly have information that will help in the investigation of this scammer. I am sure the other girls will be glad to hear from you. I hope everyone gets their money refunded eventually. |

Per Se,
Wonderful you got your money back, but have you contacted the authorities mentioned in this thread to report she scammed you and you had to go through all this to get it back? It would so help the other victims in this case. From what I can tell, she's scammed quite a few people, and many did NOT get their money back. I think it would be best if anyone who had dealings with her, good, bad or unknown, should let the authorities know. Keepin' ya'll in my thoghts and prayers! |

Per Se - sorry about you getting scammed. You should file a police report anyway, b/c she still scammed you. By doing so, you'll help the others who haven't gotten their money back.
