OP if this is of any help, a friend of mine had a seller in the US not send something out to her and she had paid by check. She filed a complaint with the police department in the town of this person and the police went to the sellers home!!!!

You MUST contact the police!

Did any buyer PM Romie-Omie BEFORE they bought their item to confirm that the seller is indeed Romie-Omie?

I see a lot of auctions claiming that they are tPF members ("trusted" ones at that), but not many post their PF ids, which I completely understand for privacy reasons. But the legit ones definitely wouldn't mind telling potential buyers in private email what their tPF id is, and then respond to the buyer's PM to prove that she really is who she's claiming to be.

I'm not sure if this dishonest seller really is Romie-omie, but I'll give Romie benefit of the doubt for the moment, it wouldn't be nice/right to bash Romie if that dishonest seller had pretended to be her. KWIM?

That said, hey you dishonest disgusting seller, give people their money back!! I know you're reading this!!!

It's her. Read all three threads, she scolded one of the buyers for posting. On top of that, in a month she's had time to come here and SPEAK, she hasn't. She logs/logged on all the time, just like many of us here. She's reading.

She looks so innocent and nice in her picture!! I'm so digusted with people that scam on eBay. I've mixed up shpts in the past before too...but not when it comes to such an expensive bag. Never ever, not even if i was delirious and sick would i send something out that expensive to the wrong person, let along giving it to someone else to ship for me.

-I'm sorry this is happening to you! You really need to take police action against her. Plz keep us updated!

If you read the whole thread, you would know that it's ROMiE-OMIE. I've enclosed the 2 other threads about her eBay shenanigans from a few pages back.

PM the other buyers and get each other phone # and 3-way call. You can individually write up your own events (including her eBay ID and auctions) and submit all of your complaints TOGETHER to your own police department and to her local police department.

It's possible that the photo in her avatar isn't even her.
You never know who the real person is behind a computer.

Actually I have read the whole thread (actually 3 threads since there're 2 other PFers who'd been scammed by dancing*in*my*manolos), and nothing tells me that it's Romie-omie for sure.

All I gather is that the dishonest seller had emailed them saying she's Romie. That's why I ask has any of the buyers PMed Romie here on tPF BEFORE they bought anything, and Romie had PMed back saying "yup, that's my auction".

I mean, any dishonest seller can claim in private email to the buyer saying that he/she is Peppy then run off with their money. I wouldn't be any wiser to the fact until suddenly all these buyers come PMing me wanting their refunds. But that doesn't mean that I AM the seller right?

Please don't take this the wrong way anyone, I'm not trying to pick bones here and/or side with the dishonest seller. But I really wouldn't want this seller to frame a PFer and she unwittingly getting slammed for something she didn't do.

Anyhow, I'm sure Vlad and Megs are checking this out now, and if it really is Romie, she'll be banned for sure, and rightly so!!

There have been pf members who have completed transactions successfully prior to her scamming these. Proof.

Again, the evidence is overwhelming.

She made this post quite some time ago in a different thread (April 2007).... makes you wonder...

It's her.
There's proof.

And if she's banned from tpf, what difference does it make?
Like she would come on here and post anyway .
