Awww, thanks. :) I haven't contacted the police department yet. I don't know if they would be willing/able to do anything. I just express mailed printouts of my emails and TPF posts posted by the other 2 members and the ebay auctions in question to my mom today. I think that the seller targets international buyers especially maybe because she thinks that we can't speak/write fluently in English. Hopefully the CC chargeback works. My mom is on very good terms with her bank; she's a priority member and anyone who can see her bank balance knows that we're able to afford more than a few bbags. It's just that my mom's not into these things; she spends more than USD100,000 a year on her children's education though and you can count how many bbags that can buy. My mom loves me enough to buy me something that she would never ever buy for herself, not in the last ten years anyway after she realised how fragile economies can be, after the Asian Financial crisis. It just makes me soooo mad to think that my mom's integrity is being called into question here because of this greedy, dishonest human being who thinks that she can get away with being deceitful. I know this seller's TPF identity and if you're reading this, I DARE you to come up here and say something. It's really funny how you have all this time to read my posts and then send me two raving emails about what a b*tch I am but not have the guts to come up here and clarify things or even clarify things through private email with me. You have caused my family and I so much distress and stress. At this point in time, I don't think that you even qualify as a human being so I'm just going to say this: you really are a creature of the worst kind. |

She's in the US? The police will DEFINATELY do something. That is fraud and she can be charged with a crime. I would call her local police department and file a complaint, they will then look into it. Police departments are taking internet fraud very seriously now since there are so many scammers here now. I'm so sorry this happened to you.

I looked at this thread and can't believe it, or actually I can. I would also urge you to contact the police department in her city to file charges. As Jlinds said, the police are taking internet fraud and crime very seriously. If she used the mail that could be mail fraud also which is federal.

I posted this is on another thread, but you need to get with the other people who have been victimized by this seller. You need to have all of your documentation, photos, timeline, etc. You MUST find out the location of the seller, including the county where she is located. You need to find out if this is a "county" matter or a "city" matter. Then you need to contact the local law enforcement agency; i.e., sheriff's office, police station, whatever it is called in that particular jurisdiction. It would be great if the victims could band together, and forward the information to the SAME PERSON at the law enforcement agency. If multiple victims are complaining of the same fraud being done, then they are more likely to give it more weight. Good luck, and if you have any ???, feel free to pm me - I'll try to help anyway that I can. Off to bed shortly, so any ???? will be answered tomorrow.

^^^An additional thought, hopefully the credit card that you paid with will protect you in this situation. That would save you so much trouble if your cc company represents you. Even if you paid via Google checkout, if you paid w/your Amex card, I know that Amex will fight for you!

I am so sorry to hear this happened to you. It sounds like these disgusting people all have the same lines. Someone scammed me on ebay (for $100 shoes) and when I tried to resolve it with them they said they had been sexually assaulted and were in the hospital. So, of course, I gave her some time and by then her phone was disconnected and I lost my $$. My point is these scammers will go to any lengths to buy time so you won't report them. Report them and do a chargeback ASAP!!!!

Looks like dancing*in*my*manolos is targeting on international buyers. She sent another buyer in Thailand a fake but the listing is an authentic Bal bag. And, she is fully aware what is going on and has been reading our posts since she just changed her feedback to private today.
dancing*in*my*manolos, if you are reading this thread, please give those innocent buyers money back. What goes around, comes around! |
