I can definitely understand and have empathy. I have often gone overboard with buying bags just because I can and then reality hits that I MUST let some go....I am single and pay my mortgage and alllll of my bills myself .

You can still us Ebay right? For now just sign up for Bidpay.com and buyers can pay you with their Visa or Mastercard, which is how people like to pay anyways since they have recourse with using a CC. I only use Bidpay because I heard soooo many horror stories about Paypal that I never even bothered with them. Bidpay has been great to me, no hassel. I have sold Chloe's, Fendi's and a few Bbags. Though some people avoid me since I don't or won't use Paypal, which I think those people are weird, because it is just as safe because they are paying via CC. Try it and see how it works for you :o)

I work for a bank so I am familiar with all of the bank wire scenarios and the fees. In this particular case, which I just found out today, the buyer requested that HER BANK charge me for HER WIRE FEE. I got my hands on the actual wire papers. I found this out after she told me over and over that she didn't have them charge me. There was no difference in the exchange rate or any hidden "fees" that caused the $$ difference. It was simply that she asked her bank to deduct her wire fee out of the amount being sent to me. Now, after free INT shipping and a $35.00 discount just for her having to send a wire (which was because her Bidpay payment was denied) and to cover her bank wire fee (I was thinkg ahead knowing that she would be charged a fee) she still had me pay for her wire too!! That takes some nerve!!!

I realize that there are far worse and terrible/horrific things in life to wory about than this silly thing, but Neiman Marcus won't ship to me until I pay in full, so why should I?? Sooooo, I will wait for the entire $$ amount (as silly as it may seem to some of you) until I ship. Period. I have been way too easy as an Ebay seller. I don't ever want to be mean, that's so not me, but instead just follow the rules. Bid, win, pay in full, I ship!

Wow! I almost traded her one of my bags for one of hers (or I guess I should say donate at this point). I was trusting her because she was a tpf'er and used to be legit. Seems to be a lot of this going on lately.

I have been following this story and while I was not a victim of her, I certainly feel for all of you who are. This "person" (I use that term loosely) should be taken care of legally as soon as possible. Now it seems as though there are at least 9 victims on here alone! Imagine how many others who do not belong to the forum. AND, bravo to all of you detectives who dug through and found information on her. May Brittany burn in %$#@ for her scamming. She is up there with Monaco Babe! Keep us posted....

Another recap for those that have just started reading this.
There were several threads regarding this scam as posted above. (See posting #2 here)

There are 7 victims so far also as posted above.

Some transactions were made out of eBay because Romie-Omie was assumed to be a "trusted" tpf member.

Her contact information at Ebay is invalid.

We are not sure if her name is Brittni Banks / Britney Banks / or Brandy Banks. (She said she works at a bank so who knows, this last name could be an alias)

We think ebay id Romie-Omie was her and it looks like that account was suspended due to fraud. Her new ebay id is dancing*in*my*manolos. She recently changed her account to private, which she can do because she currently does not have anything listed. (So we know she is out there on her computer and probably reading these posts)

I'm sure all the victims have the information now for google checkout and chargebacks.

We also believe the photo in her avatar was not her.

This whole situation is awful and we feel terrible for these victims.

Hopefully these victims are working together and sharing all the information obtained.

I think (correct me if I'm wrong) that the problem is contact information.

Right now, trying to figure out her real name, location etc so the police can be called and get involved.

At that time, we were just getting all the information and tying it all together.

We were reprimanded and postings were deleted due to the "drama"

it's against the rules to try and sell them HERE.
We're not "big brother" though, we're not about to try and catch/ban anyone caught selling them somewhere else. . . that's someone else's problem.
We enforce our rules here.

We can't have people accusing people either. Someone was already naming a member here incorrectly as being the eBayer scamming people, this is a problem.
If someone has soem FACTS, PM a Mod, please do not call out people in this thread, people are mistakingly pointing fingers and it's DRAMA.
