Question USPS Express Mail® International has insurance?

Hello, I'd like to purchase an item from USA. Item will be ship out by USPS Express Mail® International . Anyone know if it's possible to purchase insurance for this service? Item amount is for something around $4000. I tried to check USPS.com but can't find the info I'm looking for, thanks

Yes, but the amount that can be purchased depends on your country. If she is shipping to Singapore (I believe that is where you are from?) Then she can add up to $5000 of insurance.

Yep! When you are at the post office, you just have to ask. It comes with about $100 in insurance automatically, but you can get more, depending on the country that you are sending it to.

Yes but it might be more difficult to file a claim.
