Bagangel, I am so sorry! This is so awful. I have been following this thread from the start and was so shocked to see the latest update. I really hope that you will not be discouraged from being a wonderful ebay seller. it sounds like you have been doing this for a long time and this is your first awful experience.

I am a firm believer in karma and I think this "unbelievably nasty buyer" will get what's coming to her. Maybe paypal will let her get away with it, but in the end, it will come back and bite her in the you know what. She sounds like an awful person and it sucks that a good person like you has to come across her.

but anyways, i'm very anxious to see what this psychopath sends back your way. Please post pics! the situation sucks, but I sincerely hope you can come here and have a little laugh at how crazy some people can be..

Thanks Rachey, coming here keeps me sane in the midst of madness like this, LOL! I will indeed post pics of whatever she returns, I am prepared to be shocked!

OMG BagAngel, I've been following this thread and when I read that she plans to return it, the first thought that came to me was that she HAS to scratch it to make all those conversations plausible. If it is scratched, I would send it back to her! Keep fighting!!! I'm sure it'll all work out for you.

No point in sending it back to her as paypal will already have refunded her then she would have money & item. I am sure it will be in bad shape though when I get it :(

Oh man! I can't believe this is how it turned out at the end. Paypal sucks! Sorry that you have to go through this.

BadAngel, if you don't have sufficient funds in your PayPal account to cover the refund, it'll become negative, then PayPal will take money out of your checking/savings account that's linked to your PayPal account. They're known to do this and nobody can stop them from doing it. If you don't have enough funds in your checking/savings account, PayPal will send you to collections and the collection agency will start bothering you nonstop.

I hope this will not happen but leaving your account with a negative balance will only hurt you in the long run.

Email your buyer and tell her if your keyring doesn't come back in the same condition as the day you sent it out, you'll sue her in a small claims court. Tell her you have pictures of it before you shipped it out.

I can't believe PayPal and the monkeys they're employing. This makes me sad.

Ok, what if she sends it back and its empty? Or a replica? Do they believe her since they have already sided with her, because honestly this could happen, and then are you totally screwed? I am sorry to even ask or think this, but this is total b.s.

That is horrible. If a buyer does not pay you in the time frame given on the auction just kindly advise them the item is no longer available for purchase. I do understand you were being kind he/she the buyer is just rude. Also, I was thinking maybe the buyer used the merchandise or is trying to return merchandise he/she has that is not good and keep your's.

I hope everything works out in your favor.

You mean that they can take the money out of the bank account that I withdraw money to??? I don't think the bank would allow that without my authorisation?

I don't think that emailing her will do any good, she is claiming it damaged so will not send it back as she got it. truthfully I am sorry now that I didn't give her the 75 refund at least I would only have been out 75usd not the lot!

What I've heard that Paypal will do is reverse a transfer you've made to your bank account in order to get its money back.

Yes, PayPal is able to do that. :( I know it sucks but that's the truth. If you don't want your credit ruined, I suggest you have enough funds in your PayPal account to cover the refund.

If you give in to her demands, she's just going to do it to other sellers. I'd fight to the end with nasty buyers like this.
