Default Uggs not as described..

So i got a pair of boots off eBay, in the listing they are down as being a size UK 7..I got the boots today..they 1) have a 6 sticker on the soles 2) have a US 9 mark on the box..a UK 7 is not a US 9..also why i there a 6 sticker on the boot. Also the leg of the boot is tiny, an i mean tiny..i got my 6yr ols son to put them on and the legs are snug on him and he has legs like straws! Im gutted, totally gutted! So because the leg is so small i cant even get them on to find out what size the foot part is. Theres no way an adult would get in the boot..i dont know what to do..! I wrote to the the seller saying that i think i may have been sent the wrong boots..he replied saying that a US 9 was a UK 7 and that his girlfriend is a size 7 and the boots fit her they are just a bit tight. I have now replied saying that http://www.dancesport.uk.com/shoes/conchart.htm and http://www.i18nguy.com/l10n/shoes.html both say that a UK 6.5 is a US 9..still doesnt explain the 6 sticker and the fact of the legs. I dont know what to do now..i am really gutted, he knew how much i wanted them too...

Are they big kids size 6? I know that the sizing on Nordstroms has a conversion for this. That could explain why the legs are tight. They could be fake. Most of the Uggs on eBay are.

Wow that sucks. I think eBay needs to bring in a new regulation that you can't put your own foot size in listings, for example..

"these shoes are labled a size 6 - but im a 7 and they fit me"

It just seems wrong doesnt it? and it is miss representation. This is the second case of shoe size miscommunication in as many days.

Let us know how it goes! x

I usually buy the kids version of uggs size 5 and the legs arent tiny. My jeans can also fit inside. Maybe they are fake.

Thet are fake..he admitted it and said that as he didnt say they were real in the auction he had done nothing wrong!!

So i proceeded to tell him that paypal destoys all fakes and hey would refund me so if i had to invole them it wouldnt work with him. I also told him that i trusted him as he owns a sandwich bar.

He replied saying my 'threats didnt bother him and that he would refund me as he felt sorry for me and also how did i know about his business'

I think he only said he would refund because i knew about his shop..I posted the boots yesterday and he got them today, then sent me a message asking how i knew about the shop..still no refund though.

I knew about the shop as due to seeing how people on here have unravelled mysteries, i also had a go and with the wonder of google i discovered lots about him..i think hes quite scared, thats a good thing though! I have just emailed him asking where my refund is, no reply as yet though..

It is illegal to sell counterfeit goods, so you should let him know that in fact he DID do something wrong. whether or not he 'mentions it' isn't the issue.
