I'm curious to know her ID as well. I'm not a regular (YET!) of the CL forum.

ugh, so sorry you're going through this.

let this be a lesson that you CANNOT trust someone because they claim tpf or even are a well-known member here. these scam artists do not care, they are just in it for themselves.

Can I "report violation" on that Bonanzle auction even though I didn't buy it?

I'm thinking that if we all click that "report violation" button, Bonanzle will definitely have to notice.

I haven't done it yet, but I really want to!

I suggest emailing support@bonanzle.com.

^^ Done!

(But, just out of curiosity, why wouldn't I report the listing? Is this against the rules?)

No, you could use the report button, but the report button has limited space to explain. An email usually gives opportunity for further clarification in such instance as this one.

OMG, this is terrible!!! It's also disgusting. Another filthy scammer... The way they victimize and mortify innocent people, steal, lie...their lack of integrity, accountability and compassion never ever ceases to amaze me.

I'm glad you're taking this as far as you can and that you have relatives who can help. I'm sure you've also received PMs from people here offering to research the seller for you here and outside TPF. Let us know if there's anything else we can do to help.

Unfortunately, nope. There are dishonest people in the world, so there are dishonest people everywhere. TPF is not any different.

Thank you all for your posts and your PMs. I am finding a lot out about this girl who yes, befriended a lot of gals here on this forum. That's why I was so shocked! But now all the dots are lining-up (or I should say lies). This girl is a real con artist!

I'm sorry you had to deal with that! It's unfortunate that she continues to operate her scams on people here. I wonder what these tpf members do, do they come in here and read these posts and continue on their merry way?

isn't it going to be an automatic refund from the credit card company if the seller can't show delivery?

she just takes the money and doesn't ever ship?
and tries to get you to deal with her without ebay protection?

real nice. not.
