Angry The GUCCI is not a fake!

Today it happened again! This is the 3rd time they removed my listing & it is not even fake!
I called the powersellers line & the guy on the other line informed me that I can't use the GUCCI name period! I said "What?" Then he went on to tell me that GUCCI is a trademarked name & the company does not want it used on the eBay site.
I'm sure that recent lawsuit they lost has all to do with it. Then I get off the phone & see 5,000+ listed GUCCI items! They sure are slow if they plan to remove all GUCCI items. They sure will loose a lot of revenue. I guess they had to balance it out CYA or sell GUCCI items. I guess they are choosing CYA.
I don't really care for eBay (Iam a powerseller with a store been a member since '02) new poliocy stinks and so does the new feedback policy I have tried overstock anyone had any success else where?

That's so stupid. eBay has gone downhill recently. Their fees keep going up, they remove AUTHENTIC auctions and let fake items sell...

I wish another large auction site would come along and give eBay some major competition.

So annoying. I can see hundreds of fakes on eBay and they remove the authentic ones. Maybe they only want to sell fakes. Maybe try looking up Anns Fabulous finds. She seems to sell some great high end bags at good prices. Your authentic bag deserves this much respect. Good luck.

Woah. If I type in the seach field "Gucci Handbag" 902 results come up.

I don't get them at all. They are really hurting their business. BIG TIME.

I would love to own my own Gucci bag one day and the only way that will happen is to buy it used from a site like eBay. If I can't do that- then I won't be able to buy one. This is a factor for a lot of buyers. Well- ones who are honest and want the real thing. Who would want a crappy fake bag anyways. Yuck.

Stupid eBay head hunchos need to get their heads out of their asses!

If I had the know how... I would start my own auction site. This is ridicules!

You can actually buy a bag at the Gucci store when the have their sales, I believe it is 30-50% off. It just happened a couple of months ago, I believe the next is around Jan for the Fall.Winter line sale. Check the Gucci forum. Buying it from the store, at least you can see what you are getting.

Hi Lizzy1981,i have just had the same thing happen to me.I sold a genuine Tiffany Somerset bracelet with the original Tiffany receipt. They removed it and told me to check their policy listings.I gave them a list of reasons as to why the bracelet was genuine and told them to check their site and have a look at the FAKE Tiffany Somerset bracelets and see the difference in the tags, but they just wont listen.I now have a buyer who will think i have sold them a fake Tiffany bracelet when in fact it is authentic.Despite 6 years of good selling and 1006 100% positive feedback i am now giving up selling on eBay after having being treated this way. They have also banned me from what listing for 90 days just to insult me further.
