I bought a white Goyard bag from Ann's Fabulous Finds recently, was too worried about getting the bag dirty so decided to sell. The bag came complete with Barney's tags. I paid $935 and sold for just under $800. I'll attach pictures of the bag. Sent the bag to the buyer and she's saying it's fake. I know Ann only sells authentic bags and authenticates EVERYTHING before selling. I guaranteed the bag was authentic, but also said all sales were final. Since I'm sure it's authentic, what do I do? I've contacted Ann for a statement of authenticity and original invoice... and told her to get it checked out on her own, but she says she can't until November. What should I do?

she can't until november? huh?
well she has to prove it's fake, and if she can't until november, then any recourse through paypal/eBay will be too late, so her loss really. and like you said, it's authentic, so there's really nothing she can prove. i would wait and see how it plays out. getting the letter from Ann's and the receipt should be more than enough to prove authenticity should it come to a claim. sorry about this. allison |

i call buyers remorse too. and if she is asking you to wait till november for her to authenticate, i would just say that she is obligated to the terms of eBay/paypal regarding making claims under their timeline and that you have proof of authenticity ready if she so wishes to dispute it. i think she will relent.

also, i don't know that you need so much to prove it's real right off the bat, as she needs to prove it's not. if that makes sense.

I just sold a Goyard bag that I bought from Ann's Fabulous Finds and the buyer is telling me it's fake. I know Ann's has a great reputation and have both bought and sold from her before. I've already reached out to her for an invoice and authentication guarantee. What should I do? I paid more for the bag then I made selling it!

I wrote Ann's Fabulous Finds and asked for an invoice and guarantee. I told her that I did this and to by all means have it authenticated independently. Ann is professional and will stand behind the bag if she can prove it's false.

I don't know if any of you guys have dealt with Ann, but she's fantastic. I am embarrassed asking her for this!

I would wait until you hear from Ann's Fabulous Finds. It's highly very highly unlikely that you have been sold a non-authentic item from this seller. Her reputation is very upstanding.

I agree with you amamxr. I have bought an LV and a Balenciaga from Ann's and both are authentic. NYC, Has the buyer told you why she thinks the Goyard is a fake? And does she have proof? Perhaps she is having buyer's remorse?

Do not worry. You can get your prof from Ann, for piece of mind. If you choose to send the info to the buyer make copies for yourself. Also, if she can't authenticate till Nov, she can't/won't be ab;e to file a claim.
