I would not doubt the authenticity of anything from Anns. I think the buyer might have realised she spent too much this month and has decided she cant keep the bag. Its not your fault, she should think before she bids.

Makes sense to me and it's true. Make the buyer file a claim thru PayPal. It will be her responsibility to prove authenticity. Not yours.

Ann is fantastic. Within an hour she sent me an invoice and a statemen of authenticity. She's also trying to get me the original receipt from the original seller. Such a pleasure to deal with.

Thanks for making me feel better about this. I fwd the buyer all of Ann's info and told her to feel free to get the bag authenticated by a crediable source on her own. Even suggesting My Poupette. I agree it's sketchy that she wants to wait until going to Tokyo in November and will now sit back and see how it plays out.

This is what I wrote:

The bag I sold you is authentic. I have all of the information to back that up. As stated in my auction I will only accept returns if the bag is not authentic, not for buyers remorse. In the auction, I said the bag had Barney's tags, not that I bought it there. In fact, a few buyers contacted me for that info and I gladly told them where the bag was purchased.

I am getting you the original receipt and buyer info so you can have the bag authenticated by a credible source. Please open a dispute with eBay and have the bag professionally authenticated.

More. Should I ignore her.

I do not have buyer's remorse. I have taken the time to contact both Bergdorf's and Barney's.

I WOULD NEVER HAVE PURCHASED THE BAG IF I KNEW THAT YOU PURCHASED IT FROM A CONSIGNOR AND NOT ACTUALLY YOURSELF FROM BARNEY'S. YOUR LISTING IMPLIED THAT YOU PURCHASED THE BAG AT BARNEY'S. THIS WAS DECEPTIVE.

Mailing the receipt to me is not good enough. Please provide me with the original buyer's information today so I can contact Barney in LA.

You misrepresented the provenance of this bag.

I think it is ridiculous, she is asking for far too much. I would e-mail her and tell her to open a dispute and thats final. If she wants to take it up more, she can do it through eBay. There is no need to give her the buyers details, its nothing to do with her and Im 99% sure that the store will not authenticate it since it was bought on the second hand market, they are more likely to tell her its fake. She should contact a credible source or someone who does Goyard authentications. She allready has enough proof because Anna did an authentication for you so you will win a paypal case hands down. Good luck

Just have her file a complain with eBay and paypal, paypal will ask for proof or authenticate of the bag and it really up to her to prove it.How are you feeling about this ,it really up to u if you want to take it back and forget all these drama or just let PP deal if she going to dispute ,you have all the letter from ann right

I told her to file a complaint. What sort of authentication will eBay accept from her? I have a copy of the Barney's receipt, tags and documentation from Ann. I'm assuming I can't stop her from leaving a negative rating?

I just read through this thread and my gosh this buyer is ridiculous! I've also purchased from Ann before and I agree, she is wonderful and I would, of course, NEVER doubt the authenticity of anything she sells.

Unfortunately, you are correct about the negative. eBay has "ingeniously" taken what was, for the most part, a level playing field and made it grossly unfair to sellers by giving the buyer ALL of the power. At least before, with the threat of retaliation on either side, it gave BOTH parties more incentive to work things out. Now, the buyer can say whatever she wants and you can't do anything about it, and even if it is false ebay will not remove it. OUTRAGEOUS!

It's terrible! Since that new policy, I have had THREE buyers not pay me. I really think this girl has buyers regret. And she keeps going on and on about the dust bag. Can she find nothing wrong with the bag? I trust Ann 100% and having compared the bag to ones at Barney's it's real. I'm just so angry! I even tried giving her the name of someone who wanted to buy the bag from her. I couldn't have been nicer. Now it's just principle and I won't be bullied!

Good for you for sticking to your guns. If she negs you, it will be because she loses, and she deserves to. Respond to it, but wear your neg with pride!

Do not accept the return. Just tell her that if she has a problem, to bring it up with PP- as you've tried to work with her to ease her unsettled nerves by trying to provide authentication data. The responsibility to prove that the bag is fake is on HER.

Tooootal buyer's remorse.

P.S. IF the case was that she's claiming you said that you bought it at Barney's & that was a lie, that still would not constitute as a SNAD claim.
