I think we should all be happy eBay is actually trying to do something. Did anyone think they could just snap their fingers and a magic filter appears to weed out all the fakes? Unfortuately some sellers will have difficulty until they get it adjusted properly. I would just contact CS with a very calm and normal voice and ask them how to resolved the problem. If you are a powerseller - contact your account manager.

Most things will get harder before they get better. Hang in there!

Question, if you get the restriction is it prohibiting you also from listing non-designer items after you hit your limit? For example say you were allowed to list 4 designer items only and then wanted to go and list I dunno a toaster....is the system telling you tough noogies - you only get to list 4 items period?

I talked to mine today. She said that this is site-wide, that if any of your relisting attempts are restricted, you need to send an email to eBay requesting that the restrictions be lifted. You will get a response within 24-72 hours. She also told me that if you do not send an email with such a request, your restrictions will be in place for 30 days. Power Seller or not. BTW, not all Power Sellers have account managers. I know that Bronze do not, and I don't believe that Silver do, either. So they have to email through the Power Seller portal.

No, the restrictions apply to designer (copyrighted) items only. You can sell your toaster!!!

Oh good! I do not sell anymore but I could totally see eBay screwing up and this happening by accident.

I can too!!! Another harebrained "Genius Team" idea, no doubt. Can you imagine if sellers believed that eBay was not accepting any more items to sell? OMG!!!

So the message about a listing limit disappeared and instead, I got one about excessive shipping charges!? Is $15 excessive if it includes $6.50 worth of insurance and EXCLUDES siggy confirmation? What is their alert based off of!

I added part of the shipping fee to the total cost and now I get:

You can not submit your listing due to the following problems

There's no problem listed!

The very same thing happened to me. I had a Chanel jumbo that weighs 4 pounds being shipped for $18, including insurance and signature confirmation. I would lose money on this. Then I got the same non-message that you did. This is the craziest thing I have ever encountered on that $%@# site!

Their way of trying to get sellers to lower shipping costs.....once again, a misguided attempt to make things better for buyers. But what will there be to buy when they are killing off the sellers?

They have to take care of both sides of the equation (buyers AND sellers). A one-sided approach NEVER works.

Are you a power seller? I wonder how long this is going to take!

Also I tried to make a new YSL listing and it didn't work

I listed 21 Coach items Monday..though they took forever to appear in the search, they went through & I've revised at least 4 and relisted 1 sold item since.

When I first started selling Coach, they restricted my account to 10 items per week, now there doesn't appear to be any restrictions.

It's Vero. If you've gone through that system in the past & found to be selling authentic goods, you'll prob. be ok even now.
