I did that also, but the other link has more specific reasons for contacting Customer Service that you can click onto and seemed better for this purpose. I think I have tried them all.

So I had a few bags listed with an asterisk in the name (i.e. Coac*h) and the auctions were ending today and tomorrow and I actually had quite a few watchers, but...evilbay just pulled my listings Claimed "trademark violations" which is B.S. as my items were 100% authentic (and purchased on eBay recently, I might add!). So beware, if you have listings that have gone through with the brand names "altered" to slip through, you may not be home free just yet. And I contacted C.S. and livehelp over a week ago and have heard SQUAT back yet. Still crossing my fingers the limits will get lifted, but I'm definitely not holding my breath. I guess I can sort of understand the initial reviews (though I totally disagree with the randomness of them), but what I don't get is how they're making decisions about lifting limits. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to that, either, which I think is appalling. Why does a seller with lower positive feedback and a shorter history get limits lifted while another seller with 100% positive feedback, and lots of it, gets the 90 day message? Grrrrr....

Well after a week and a half without any words from eBay I finally got an answer late last night. My restriction has been lifted....thank God!

In fact, it was a very nice email apologizing for the long delay in response and then explaining that they had taken a long look at both of my accounts and that they were lifting the restriction.

Geez, it's about time!

.... Congratulations, good for you! Are you an occasional seller or a high numbers Power Seller? (Who knows if that makes any difference!)
I am only at four or five days since writing....

Yup that's the link I clicked on and I didn't think I will get a response at all since I didn't think it was the right department because it was pretty general but I gave it a try anyways since it was the one that popped right up after the "no" listing message.

I tried to list a Balenciaga today and received a restriction notice. Argh.

I was trying to relist a wallet from a dead beat buyer and I got this restriction too. I chatted with Live Help and was told to email Safety & Trust. Well I did on 7/6. Still no response at all via email. eBay is awful right now. I use to go to the outlets buy stuff & sell it on eBay and that's no more if eBay keeps this up. What's funny is I find it very strange that eBay's listing numbers aren't down considering the number of sellers being limited in the number of listings. I think they are padding their numbers so they don't come off as being hurt by the whole LV lawsuit.

I have no idea where you are getting eBay's listing numbers, but I do know that there are over 300 fewer Chanel listings than there normally are. If they are claiming that their listing numbers are not down, they are doing some serious padding, IMO.

I wrote Sunday night and again on Monday - no word yet either... My fingers are crossed that it'll be semi-cleared up in 30 days..

I have now sent 2 messages to eBay now and its been almost a week and no response...I have around 50 feedback but I have sold other authentic designer goods before and my feedback is perfect!

But I see people with 10 feedback (90%) listing like 5 LV bags and other designer bags!

It is infuriating, isn't it? It took almost a week to get my response and I am a currently a Silver Power Seller. My response was to try again in 90 days. So I have now sent 15 emails appealing this decision. You WILL get a response, but you may not like it.

If anyone wants a fabulous consigner who has NOT been restricted and only charges 10% plus eBay fees (the lowest consigner fee I have ever found), feel free to PM me. She has an excellent reputation and sells between 10 and 20 bags per week. Her only stipulation is that the bag be either new or gently used.

I finally got my response...took one full week. Anyway..they lifted my limits so I am relisting my Chanel items like mad although I think sales in general are down due to all the craziness.

i have gotten this message too. I dont have 100 percent feedback, but it is pretty darn close. I have never had a buyer complaint...EVER!! eBay just wants to cover their behinds with the new LV lawsuit...A day late and a dollar short....GRRR!! (me fighting w. eBay...lol) AND to top it off, you cant get a straight answer from anyone @ ebay.

Well this was the second message I sent. I know, I should have it my tongue but I am pissed.

Honestly if you valued offering high-end authentic items sellers who have had no complaints of selling knock-off items would not have these selling limits placed. I have already sent one request, but have not heard anything. I have 100% positive feedback and all of my items are authentic. I couldn't take advantage of my 5 free listings by June 30 because of this unwarranted restriction. Please let me know how I can appeal this restriction. eBay has no problem accepting fees on the $3000 worth of items I have purchased in the last 60 days as well as all the fees you have collected on the items I have listed and sold. I would just like the courtesy of listing my authentic items as I continue to buy them from buyers who do not seem to have these types of restrictions.

I tried to list my items today and I was able to do so. I wouldn't have known that eBay has already lifted my selling limits. I didn't get any response from them. So you guys should keep checking if you can list your items again. Good luck!
