I wrote about this in the Botkier forum, and thought you guys over here may be able to shed light on what action could be taken now.

This is the stock photo from Target.com of one of the Botkier for Target purses - all of which are PVC. This leads me to believe the lister MUST have noticed the description (as she copied and pasted it)... but then altered the material composition portion to be misleading! She says it's leather - Target says PVC!

Well, I politely emailed the seller and informed her that the bag was indeed PVC. She acknowledged my input by replying, "thanks".

I also noticed that despite her apparent 100%+ feedback, she has a history of selling a fake LV, and a pleather bag that she claimed to be leather... and ANOTHER complaint where the buyer did not even receive the item! How on earth could her FB still be rated at 100% with THREE NEGS??!

She has still not altered her listing, and I have reported her to eBay under their Fraud heading. Is there anything else we can do to end her crooked eBay-ing ways???

I reported it. And she has a buy-it-now of $300 for a $40 bag.

I came to this forum to post about it! I guess other people spotted it first. I was like WTF? Leather? For her to copy Target's description and just alter the word "PVC Plastic" to "leather" is so wrong! Shame on this eBayer!

WHAT?!!!! Why is this seller trying to sell a bag made for target as a regular Botkier bag for $300? The feedback thing is weird too, I guess feedback is counted from the past 12 months and the negs were from over a year ago.

And like I'd really do a BIN on a bag for $300 with only a stock pic.

I had the divine privilege of sleeping in this morning... and here I check the thread and it's solved! I will be keeping an eye on this jerk - I swear she'll list it again... I have a feeling!

I have a different set of menus when I report bags, I think, but I selected these options for reporting it:
Listing Violations>Listing Policy Violations>Other Listing Policy Violations>Item is Significantly Misrepresented

And then in the description box, enter that the bag is from Target and the website lists it as pvc and she says it's leather.


Glad it got taken down once...if she does it again I'll keep reporting it too!

Why do people do obvious scams like that and think that no one is going to notice? Especially with a handbag like that?

If she does that enough times her account will be permanently turned off.

The listing's been removed so I can't see what the seller ID is. Can someone post it or PM me so I can put her on my list of sellers to not buy from?
