Super Slow Sales on eBay Right Now?

Is it just me, or are sales sooooooo slow right now. I know its the beginning of the summer, but my goodness its super slow!!!

yep.. ive been really really struggling to sell anything!

Its good to know that its not the UK... i work in retail over here and its VERY slow in store tooo....

Noticed the same thing. It stresses me out when this happens, no matter what I'm selling.

It's slower than slow. And that hour-long investigative piece (a good portion of which was dedicated to eBay scammers and their victims) that aired on CNN a few days ago sure didn't help matters any.

I have been selling on eBay for awhile & have noticed things definitely slow down when it gets nice out. I think people are just spending more time outside as opossed to inside hunkered down with their laptops surfing eBay on a snowy day!

Keep hope though, sometimes crazy things do happen!

I think people are weary of what they buy on eBay. ebay's customer svc is not top notch; it is very difficult for a buyer to file a claim or a complaint.

I use eBay frequently, for both buying and selling (more so of the first than the latter), but I always have my doubts. Sometimes, I just go to the store and pay full retail (if the item is available) just to have peace of mind.

Ugh I know what you mean. I always have a ton of watchers and no bidders lately. On this one fairly high end top I'm selling (this is the 3rd time I've relisted it and I started it at $9.99!) I only have ONE bid and 8 watchers and it ends tonight. Unfortunately you'd think that those people will all bid at the last minute but nope, they just let it sit there in their "watched list" and never bid.
This isn't working too well since I'm going to need some extra cash for Vegas in a couple of weeks.

I'm totally having the same problem. I have a pretty rare item up right now that used to get snatched up within hours if not minutes and it's sat there quite a few days now. I priced it accordingly for its condition and with what others have recently gone for, so I think things are just super slow. Wish I had seen the CNN story. I was the victim of a scam a while back and it totally threw me for a loop!

Count me in. I have listed the only item I am selling like 4 times already. I thought I had sold it this last time but I got a non-paying bidder. So much for my sale. Depressing!!!
