Well i suppose the first thing to do would be to kindly ask the seller if they would return it and see what they say? If they say no, which they have every right to if there is nothing wrong with the jacket then perhaps just resell it or something?

So, you've bid/won and now you do not want to pay?
Unless there is some HUGE reason for this.. like the item being counterfeit.. you entered into a binding contract with this seller when you won the auction. You created an "obligation" and if you do not pay, the seller can file a NON-PAYING BIDDER strike against you.

WHY do you now not want this jacket?

OK.. wait a minute. First of all, it's rather dangerous to buy anything off of ebay via a bank wire transfer. You will have NO PP protection and NO recourse if you do not receive your item OR it's not as described.
Do you not have a PP account?
Since you and the seller seem to have a conflict as to type of payment, MAYBE ask him nicely if he would just prefer to cancel the transaction??
Was this an ebay transaction? And did you BID and WIN, or did you and the seller make a side-agreement OFF ebay??

Stephanie.. if an ebay auction, can you post the link for me to review the terms?

You're not going to get a letter from a lawyer, but you could a NPB strike. But I'm concerned with you wanting to pay with a bank transfer. Usually, it's the other way around--the buyer, not the seller, doesn't want to pay via this method. As a buyer, you have no protection whatsoever if the seller never sends the item or sends you something else.

Forgot to add, that a bank transfer is not an acceptable method of payment on fBay except for a couple of categories, which do not include bags. If you did this transaction off fBay, you made a mistake and should not go through with it unless the seller is willing to list the jacket for you to buy it via fBay. If it was an fBay transaction, you should use PayPal or a cc though a merchant account to have some protection.

If the list says seller only accept paypal and you want different method, this should be discussed before you place the bid and not after you won. It's really not fair for seller you not want the item because you don't agree with her paymet method. Besides paypal gives you additional protection that bank transfer doesn't.

It was a jacket. this drama is too much for me! I will get a paypal account which I think this is the best way! and then pay via PAYPAL.

I hate dramas and this is just like time-robbing.
what do you think?

You're actually lucky the seller isn't accepting a bank transfer. You could push the issue if the seller stated he/she accepts bank transfers, but it's just not safe for you. Open a PP account and pay with a cc. You'll need to communicate with the seller because opening an PP account takes a few days because they make deposits of a few cents to verify the account.

It takes a few days to set PP acct. up. You should tell your seller what you are doing. Also ask him if he wants to cancel? He might actually prefer to sell to someone and not have to wait.
But if you want to shop on ebay, I would say you definitely do need a PP account. To protect yourself and most sellers only take PP.

It will be safer if you pay via PP.... but link your PP account to a credit card, not your bank account.
OR....IF the seller stated that he would accept bank wires, and now he will NOT, you could advise the seller nicely that he is not honoring stated payment terms and you would like to just cancel the transaction, please. And see what he says.
