Yes, I will thanks for the help and your time, my dears!

I asked the seller to cancel. But said that they need the money,.... no idea

by the way, this is the jacket:

what do you think?

honestly that jacket is ugly (you asked)
if you really dont want to go thru w/ it just be willing to accept a non paying strike...besides the sellers acution stated they accept bank wire transfers and if that seller wont let you pay that way you can get of paying for the item

I was thinking something from the Michael Jackson estate. Sorry, OP. It's just not that great to me either! Keep us posted what happens.

Sorry for the situation you are in....Is that jacket a Halloween costume or something from MJ???

Sorry, but I cannot even understand why you would have wanted it to begin with.....that was mean, I apologize, but that jacket is too much!!

It is so bad, I almost think this is a joke thread

I thought that from the beginning - that is why I suggested a Halloween costume.

Wow, are you guys always this mean when people ask for help?
Could you stop the judging now and either help or not respond?

I think it's a good idea to do the PP for both of you, maybe that's why the seller changed their mind. I don't think sellers are protected by Bay if there's a problem with a wire transfer and you as a buyer won't have the same recourse to file a claim with PP. If you're going to keep purchasing, as a buyer PP is the safest route. It's not fool proof but it's still better than nothing. Filing a claim with your bank is a heck of a lot harder if something goes wrong.

If you don't want to go through with the auction, I don't see how they can file a NPB strike if they changed the terms. Instead, they can file a claim that you both decided not to go through with the transaction, that way they can get a refund on the commission fee Ebay took from the sale.

Also, I don't think a NPB strike does much unless you've had other previous NPB strikes.

I'm interested in the description of the Jacket. Is this an antique or vintage?

I personally think that if you and the seller can agree to the method of payment which is PayPal, you should pay for it.

I would not do a wire transfer because you will not be protected. You will be protected if you use PP -- if you can set up your account and the seller agrees to wait until you do that. If not, maybe they will mutually cancel the transaction? If they won't agree to that, you may have to take a NPB strike. I would not pay with wire transfer.

My opinion is that you bought the jacket, you must pay for it whether or not you want it now.

It's the right thing to do.
