i left one today as well. Her eBay ID is tnwolves and she's now NARU'd. i still have to wait 7 days to file NPB to get back my fees. What a pain...
What a jerk! but if she has been NARU'd you will get fees back immediatey you don't need to wait 7 days, file the claim now! + her feedback won't show if she tries to leave you negative

Where do you set that? I looked up the seller preferences and don't see that option.

That's what i thought too! So i went ahead and tried to file for Unpaid Item, but it wouldn't allow me to do so. Kept saying i have to wait until Feb 11, even after i select the option that buyer is no longer registered. So i did live chat with eBay, and the rep was so bloody helpless. All she told me was that the person is still a member, and the situation is "complicated" (wtf?) that she shows up as NARU but she is actually still a member. My guess is that maybe the bidder herself deactivated her account? i'm not sure....and ebay rep kept repeating how she cannot give out the user's personal info. What a load of bull...i just wanted to have my fees credited back! So in the end, she directed me to Trust and Safety Harbour, but i already spoke to them before and they told me to file for NPB.

Apparently i still have to wait the full 7 days because she is still an eBay member in their system. i don't know why ebay is protecting lousy bidders like that. This is so freakin' ridiculous!

That is such a rip. Once someone has been NARU'd you should get your fees back immediately, IMHO. Stupid eBay.

The require immediate payment with BIN is just a little square checkbox you will see when you are listing an item. I think it is on like the last page you get before you get the final preview, underneath where it says "paypal payment goes to [your e-mail address]". Hope this helps.

^ Got it!!! Thanks Litigatrix. Never notice that little box there, i'll always use it from now on if i ever have BIN.

You guys are more helpful than those eBay reps. i don't think they're fully trained at all to handle situations like this.

Ack! Something similar happened to me during the summer--the winning bidder strung me along for two weeks, all the while paying for other items she had bid on. She finally paid me, then went for another ten or so weeks before leaving feedback. I was afraid that she was going to do a chargeback, so I immediately took the money out of my account.

I can't stand it when irresponsible bidders pull the "my grandmother died" bs when they can't pay. I hope that the items that I am currently selling don't end up going to people like this.

You're also given the option to block once the NPB claim is complete.

I've had the pleasure of dealing with a LOT of NPB's and filing lots of reports...*SIGH*

Good luck zoinksta!!!
