I use "justsnipe" and have never had a problem. It's cheap -- five snipes per week for free, unlimited for $5 per month.

I use HammerSnipe and its free. You can snipe up to 3 items per week for free. If you need more than you'll have to pay. HammerSnipe usually snipes items between the last 10-20 secs of the auction.

Another free one is biddingscheduler.com. In the past I've always used auctionsniper.com.

I've never used a sniping service - I usually do my own sniping (keep 2 or 3 windows open, bid in the last minute & keep updating rapidly), but sometimes the adrenalin is TOO much & I get palpitations. I think that I should try one of these services for the good of my health!

^^^ I so know what you mean - I have tried auctionsniper and used the free trials - really useful when you can't bid yourself in the last minutes. Super annoying when you bid against it though...
But I like doing my own sniping - it is fun, even if it means that you lose out - if I really want something I bid high enough anyway.
did get caught in the moment sometimes though - and bought items at higher price than I intended to.... oh well....
