IMO there is not enough photos to authenticate it but LVBabydoll is awesome so IDK........

So maybe the seller HAS an authentic one, posted pics and the very very recent receipt and then sold a fake???? That must be what she did!

I mean, she LOST money on it and she could have returned it to the boutique in the time frame she bought and sold it KWIM?
That is what I was thinking - that she posted pix of a real bag and sends out the fakes? She made enough money several times over to buy the real one for herself and use it to get the pictures to push the Ioffer fakes the unsuspecting victims.

As best I could tell, she only sold the Speedy once, didn't she? So it may well have been the real thing.... or not.

This totally sucks, seriously. From a buyer's perspective, here's a 100% fb seller with lots of sales, for a bag that's been authenticated here, you'd think that it's safe.

As careful as we are here.......no one can control what the seller actually sends out unfortunately.

I had this exact scenario happen with a 100% FB Powerseller with an LV CB Papillon......photos were 100% legit.......bag arrives.....FAKE.

I have noted on some of the AT thread that the authenticators will authenticate the auction via photos but ALSO advise a buyer to take her own photos and re-post for a 2nd authentication once bag is received. IMO, this is a very wise thing to do.

^^^ITA

Just got a response from the buyer of the Speedy.......she just said thanks basically.....it was a five word response.....kind of strange....possibly a friend of the seller and just did a fraudulent transaction to obtain the positive FB????

Yes this is ALL strange.Possibly her real bag shown however sent a fake one instead... or her *friend* bid and so called won it just to show she was a auth LV seller? How can she have what I would consider low feedback--not low in that aspect as yes over 200 is a lot ,I mean for her selling so many LVs? I thought many members with this amount were only allowed what one a month? I do not get it?? Plus the BS her saying she is a powerseller?? She most certainly is not...people can look at her page and easily figure that out,---most members, not new people possibly--so if she easily lies about that what else......I HATE liars...

Yikes! She lives in Brooklyn! I have to say, since I moved here, I've seeing the most amount of fakes during my 20 years in NYC. I can imagine where those bags came from. Her listings were eye sore. I'm grad they took down.

A few years back there was a seller selling tons brand new of "so called authentic LV bags" for 1/2 the price and they were being snatched up within minutes after another. Believe it or not, she got 100% feedback ratings with even some buyers speculating it may be fakes but was just as happy because it looked so good. I tried reporting him/her many times but ebay simply did nothing. Unfortunately I don't remember the seller id and don't know if she/he ever got caught. It was just disgusting that so many thought they were getting the real deal and some just was so happy to buy the fake that looked as good as the real thing.

Back then I was new to ebay LV and was tempted to buy one as well but the redflag was, the deal was too good to be true. Honestly I "power seller" and some claiming to be members of all sorts of groups does not mean anything.

The only way to track down the previous buyers is to go thru ther feedback pages and contact them if the listing wasn't private.

Can someone contact the local police dept? Surely this is a crime.

I think I know the seller you are thinking of (maybe) the one I am thinking of is DesignerDiva (maybe spelled differently?) She sold TONS of high end stuff for almost half price. I think she was actually legit though, as I purchased a couple things and they were authentic. LMK if its the same seller.
