Also, I am VERY interested as to why the "sister's" account was suspended. Strange....

This should be easy enough to sort out. The weight on the package should be fairly heavy. I have this bag and I agree, it IS a heavy bag.

Well, I probably should not have posted, but I have read several threads of LVGodiva's and it sets my teeth on edge every time. My BFF is VERY laid back and non-confrontational and, now that I think about it, I should have asked her permission before posting. I just couldn't stand it anymore. She too reads this forum religiously and I am sure she will see that I have posted. BUT! She will also know I only wanted to warn others and tell a side of a different story that is strangely similar to this one.

I would be MORE than happy to post the story in its entirety, after I aske her if I may. I guarantee it will shock some of you. (with eBay going downhill so fast, it won't shock you as MUCH now, but still)

Ladyisobel, me either.

Especially since she came here to post her side immediately. But I know for an absolute fact that Godiva has TRIED to scam in the past. I cannot say she succeeded, but I know she has tried.

Since I am new to posting here, I don't expect my opinions to be taken as gospel. Just something to mull over while this unfolds. You all do not know me from Adam and I understand that. I just couldn't let her go on posting as if she were an innocent "victim" any longer.

It's so sad if LVGODIVA is the scammer. She has so many posts here. I always thought I can trust a TPFer

It IS sad. I know. My friend lost several nights sleep over this person and was very nervous as the funds from this sale were to fund a weekend trip that her and her DH needed badly. They were not going to be able to go after this whole debacle so myself and my hubby loaned them the money so they wouldn't miss their trip.

She appreciated the $$ and the thought, but I'm sure she didn't have as good a time as she SHOULD have.

I just want to make it clear that I have no idea what is REALLY going on in this particular transaction. Obviously I have a strong opinion, but that is simply because I have seen Godiva in action and I KNOW that she is dishonest at the very LEAST.

I understand. Yes, I explained WHY I have just appeared. However, none of you know or can vouch for me. It is very understandable. I am not offended in the least.

However, I felt it folly not to warn others. This transaction is SCARILY similar to the one I am speaking of. It just really hit home. Nothing more, nothing less.

I am not trying to defame her at all. She can do that all by herself. Trust me. time will tell and you shall see.

I do not know the seller in this particular instance so I have nothing to hide/gain by posting here. She just didn't strike me as a scammer. You have never seen the side of Godiva as I have. After getting permission this evening, I will post the entire story complete with all the nasty emails, the repeated attempts to get my BFF to ship to SEVERAL different addys, the list goes on.
