Default Seller gave me refund without notice due to low winning bid!

ARRGH...! i really wanted this bag!!!
ive been eyeing gaucho bag for ages and finally found one on eBay a while ago. It had 99.95 starting bid with 999.95 buy it now option. It was used condition with bit of the handles and some other parts badly damaged.
I was the first one to bid on this bag and just before the day the listing was to end, i received an email from eBay that the seller cancelled the listing.
(i assumed the seller cancelled the listing cause i was the only bidder)
Few days later i found another auction with the exact same picture but different ebayer listing the auction with different eBay account.
So i contacted the original seller who cancelled the listing whether this new listing was listed with different his/her different eBay account.
He/she replied and said it was indeed theirs and he/she listed it with different eBay account. The new listing had more higher starting bid, but neverhelss i found 199.99 starting bid pretty low for damaged gaucho..
I contacted the seller for shipping cost to australia and he/she firstly quoted me 100$. i thought this was too much cause i never paid more than 50$usd to shipping fee to australia. and luckly there was another listing that listed dior gaucho and her shipping charge to australia was $45.00 . so i showed this listing to the seller and the seller agreed to ship it to me for 45usd$.in the end i won the auction for 270usd , and i paid instantly.
i was waiting for the payment to clear out and today i randmoly received an email from paypal that the seller refuned my money!
The seller emailed me and said that she went and ried sending the bag via ups but the shipping charge was exactly $312.00. Seller says she cant understand how other sellers charge $45 and says she can no longer sell the bag and will give me full refund.
What should i do ladies? i really wanted the bag and was waiting for the seller to send me tracking number. . .
My guess is the seller didnt want to let the bag go for such a low price, but then thats the sellers fault for not putting a reserve amount...
What should i do?

any adivce will be grately appreciated

You can report this seller to eBay as a non performing seller and leave a negative feedback. I'm sorry you are going through this, a seller just pulled the exact same thing with me.

REPORT THEM.

Okay, UPS international is expensive, but I just don't believe it would be $312.

I would double report them on BOTH auctions. That is simply ridiculous.

You have every single right to report the seller. But don't pay.

At the base of the auction there is a link to report seller, click that.

The seller is full of sh*# about the shipping charge being $312.00 to Australia. I've shipped lots of items to Australia via express mail. It's never cost me over $50, and usually been between $35-$45USD. She just didn't want to sell it to you because it didn't go for as much as she wanted. I'd report both her on both of her listings as a NPS.

what a crap seller who is unwilling to let the bag go for a lower than expected price. i guess if they list the BIN at $999.95, they were probably expecting somewhere near that range. now that the ending price is $270, they're just bailing. i would report to eBay about this seller, however, i wouldn't want their bag anymore. who knows what they'll do to the bag due to spite before sending it out.

i agree you should report the seller to eBay. I've had some bags sell below my desired price but I know I take that risk when I list on ebay. That's what the reserve price is for:)
As for shipping, that's totally insane. It costs $100 to ship something from the US to Asia - I don't see how shipping to Australia can cost 3 x that amount.

Sounds like she wants $312. more for the bag! There is really nothing you can do to get her to sell it to you. I had the same thing happen, only the seller told me flat out that he wouldn't sell it to me for the auction price. *bay did nothing. I negged him, he then negged me back. It took me 6 months to get that neg removed...you at least won't have to worry about that now.

$312 for shipping to Australia?! I've shipped huge Comme des Garcons gowns to Australia for $34 with insurance and guaranteed delivery times. Your seller was just giving you a line because they don't actually want to tell the bag to you. Neg that seller!!!!!!!!

Oh good grief! If she wanted to get more $$$ then she should have listed it at a HIGHER starting bid with a reserve. Normally I don't agree with auctions that have a reserve price because as a buyer its a turn off. But in this case, sense apparently they are real sensitive to how much its selling for.. they should consider that or a buy it now.

People like that have no business selling. I hope you reported them and left a nice big fat negative!
