In my listings, I say sales are final but I want to put the security tag to avoid any scammers. Can anyone advise on what I should put in my note? I don't want to give the buyer an out or think she can return the bag because I have the tag on it. Thank you!

Are you talking about enclosing a note in with the item or with the invoice you send before shipping the item out? I wouldn't bother saying anything about it in the invoice if that's the case.

I might say something like "in the event that this bag must be shipped back to me the security tag must be attached and intact." That doesn't so much imply that you accept returns but rather if it's coming back to you then the tag better be on it. :)

I put my return policy in the box. It explains that the tag must be present.

I also have a bried description of the star rating system.

Hi, I just learned about tyvek strips and tamper tags. Both sound like they'd do the trick! You can learn more by doing a search on the forum.

I haven't attached any note on the tags I placed on the bags I've sold. So far, no probs (*knock on wood*). I guess most buyers nowadays are aware what that numbered tag is for. AND I place the tag on an area wherein it is very visible.. just in case the buyer would think of using the bag first.. then decides to returm and pull a fast one on me. LOL

Imagine, someone using a bag with the security tag on it?! LOL

There was a great thread on here with complete wording to use. I order tyvek bands with custom imprinting from www.wristbandsonline.com. They're inexpensive, they're numbered and you can order in different colors!
