Question Second Chance Offer?

I missed out on this Coach wallet by $1.

The seller contacted me (via my messages on *bay) the day after and offered me a second chance offer at my last bidding price, shipping included.
I told the seller I would accept upon receiving pictures of the actual wallet.

No response on that.

I got a message today where the seller states that the wallet has no tag and it is included in the description (is not, I checked) and that if I'm not okay with the condition, I shouldn't make the purchase. Oh, and that any decision I made would be appreciated...

I'm feeling a little iffy about this whole transaction, but I really want the wallet

Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Any advice is welcome.

Thanks again ladies and gents

I have sent second chance offers for coach all the time. A lot of Coach pieces are at the outlet and people buy several of a style for eBay. With the restrictions on ebay sellers may not be able to list Coach anymore so they maybe trying to do second chance offers. I would just pay with a credit card to cover yourself in case you need to do a chargeback.

Uhmm

I asked the seller to send me pictures of the back, front and inside of the wallet. This was on Friday.

The seller sent a picture of the inside of the coin purse compartment. That is it.

I e-mailed the seller back requesting the rest of the pictures and 2 days later I got a picture of the back of the wallet.
With this message: "Hope you satisfy."

Today I e-mailed the seller back asking why my requests are being ignored. Why not send all pictures all together instead of bits and pieces?

It's rather odd... no?

Sounds too shady to me. If I can't see what I'm getting I don't want it.

It is odd. If she really wants to complete the purchase, she would of sent it all to you. Did she mention what happen to the high bidder? If you feel uncomfortable buying it, then I wouldn't.

Probably not worth the annoyance you have to go through to even get the pictures. The buyer sounds shadyyyy!

If there are no issues with the actual wallet, why won't the seller just send the pics?

Makes me wonder...

Who is the seller? I am on the way out the door but will try to get back to you in a bit. You have a while to accept the offer anyway...

Hey guys!

So the seller has e-mailed me back:

"I sent the picture as you request from Front, back and inside, I don't understand what you're talking about, The picture inside on credit pocket same like the picture inside coin compartment, and I sell only authentic
Thanks."

First of, I think we Coach lovers know that the inside of the wallet does not look like the coin compartment. The coin compartment is lined in legacy, the bills and cc compartments are platinum.

I'm attaching the only 2 pictures he sent, in a two day interval.

No pictures of the front or inside of the wallet as of yet.

They were requested last Thursday

I've e-mailed the seller back telling him that the bill/ cc
compartment is significantly different from coin compartment and that I do not understand why he keeps on prolonging this sale by not providing the requested pictures.

You guys are right. He is shady and I'm walking.

No pics? No thanks!

That's probably the best choice...walk away.

I would never bid on an item without first seeing clear pictures of the item from all sides. If I request them and don't get what I've asked for, then I'd rather not deal with that seller.

I'm not sure why you even bid on it in the first place. I wouldn't have bid on it if the listing didn't have sufficient pictures. I'd let this one go. Sounds fishy to me.

Oh, the seller said that he had more than one and he was offering me another one, hence my requesting of pictures of this "other one."
