Default Returning an item

I just won a purse on eBay worth $800 and now the seller and I agreed that I will return the item due to some flaws that she never mention on her listing. now, my question is how can I make sure that I will not be scammed once I return the item. I'm just worried that once she received the item she'll say that its not the one she sold.. just heard so many scary stories like that. can you give me some advice. I am sending it via priority mail with delivery confirmation. is that good enough? she got a po box address too. please help me out as I do not want any problem later on. I will wait for your reply before I send it guys. Thanks in advance!

Definitely send it with signature confirmation and insurance especially if you paid via paypal.

Print out the auction to back up your claim that the flaws were not mentioned and take pics of the bag before you ship.

Perfect advice! I would also use Track & Confirm on the USPS website so that you are emailed as the item is shipped and when it arrives. You can then print off the signature confirmation page for your records.

Ask for a physical addy, if you send it to a Po Box then it will not be signed for, make sure you cover all the bases before you send it back.

Oh no, you can send things certified with signature requested to a PO Box. Most businesses have them, so it's no problem. Whoever picks it up will just have to go to the counter and sign to retrieve the package, that's all.

It's never a bad idea to get a physical address from the seller, just in case. However, I think it's possible get it from the post office if you need it for a legitimate reason; they're required to keep the current info of PO boxholders on file. I have a PO box and every time I renew it, I have to certify that my info is still correct.
