Cool Return policies...

So here's the situation. I sold an Authentic bag a couple of days ago and today the buyer emailed me saying that she doesn't think the bag is fake but she wants to get her money back. I responded saying I can only accept returns for authenticity and asked her why she wanted me to refund her. The bag, granted, was not in mint condition - I photographed the corners and the other flaws of the bag, I wrote in my description the flaw and how I try my best to show/describe the condition of the bag as well as I could. I did say all sales were final in my listing. I just feel like...I didn't misrepresent the bag - I mean everyone always says they did their best, but I really did. I purchased the bag from another ebayer (who was very reputable) and was kinda bummed when I saw the condition of the bag but I accepted it and used it anyway - so when I put it up for sale to someone else I didn't want there to be any surprises. Granted my buyer didn't tell me what the reason was for why she wanted to return the bag YET, but I'm so frustrated now I mean I guess I just have to wait for the buyer to respond but I just needed to vent

eBay is really bumming me out. I mean there are some really great buyers/sellers, but some people...it's like everyone has probably has buyer's remorse, but here's how I think of ebay. Ebay isn't a place to buy and return and you'll get your money back normally **unless an item isn't authentic or horrible misrepresented, etc etc** so when people buy on ebay, they kind of should know what to expect. KWIM?

Thanks for listening, all.

Buyer's remorse is not a valid reason for returns. You incurred a lot of expenses and spent a fair amount of time and energy on selling and shipping that item for her benefit, and disclosed everything in the listing.
As she concurs that it's authentic, she really has nothing else to say about the matter.
I would offer to help her resell the item but that's about it. Good luck

You can let the buyer use your pictures to resell the item or if you want you can let the buyer return the bag and charge her a restocking fee. Sorry to hear about your trouble, it's getting harder and harder for sellers on eBay.

That's exactly what I did. I had a buyer who said the bag was too small LOL! I listed the measurements etc. I told her that she could use my listing details and pictures to sell the it back on eBay. She was happy with this and left me positive feedback.

Turns out the buyer is changing her words around saying she said it was NOT authentic. So I told her she needed proof that it was not authentic. Sooo now, I already emailed caroldiva to get it authenticated. The buyer said I have to prove it is authentic because SHE is the buyer. UGH. I am going nuts. I hate ebayy! Thanks for all your responses but I don't think she is going to want to resell since she believes its a fake, but I will keep you guys updated to let you know! Thanks all
