Once you DO have your refund processed, DO email him a copy of the email that states that you have been refunded. And say, "thanks so much HON, appreciate the refund!"
Don't send that bag back until PP tells you where to send it.

Ha - yes he is. I am just hoping they take the money back from the seller! I would hate for paypal to have to eat my chargeback and the seller get away with it!!

I will wait for PP to tell me what to do with it.

Their attitude only proves my theory that the lady knew the bag was fake and she wanted to scam you from the beginning. It doesn't matter how much money those people make, they will never have class or decency.. unbelievable!
I am very sorry you had the misfortune to deal with those people.
I know, the funny thing is, he originally said he didnt want anything to do with it and to talk to his wife, now he wants to get in on the Rachel bashing.

Maybe I am dumb but I still believe her when she says she thinks its real as it was a gift?

Yes hopefully with the help of the Cc & Pp they will be able to go after the sellers to recover the funds, fingers crossed!! I know in your heart you want to believe her as you are a good decent person. All decent people want to give the benefit of doubt...HOWEVER when it was proved to be a fake they have shown their true colors. Any decent person would have IMMEDIATELY taken care of you...ie giving you address to resend it back ,upon receipt issue FULL refund.Even if she truly thought it was real,it is not. These sellers are NOT and will NOT do the right thing...Both have sent you HORRIFIC slandering emails about you.Serious wicked, mean, hurtful comments putting you down..,so NO NEED to still stick up for her.It is pretty apparent she has no problem throwing you under the bus so to say.You need to remember what they have done and are doing, and call the police tomorrow!!

wow, what a load of crap you're going thru. When the credit card company credits you, her paypal account will be in negative balance and she won't be able to use it. And when she opens a new account and pp finds out they'll close the account. Also they will send it to collections until she pays pp back. And yes report to FBI and all other agencies you can think of. A long time ago, I bought a fake LV on ebay and got refunded by ebay, then I got an email from US attorney's office stating the same seller was being prosecuted, and I believe she and her husband went to jail. I'm sure it's rare but they can be prosecuted if caught. So there you go!

Unless you get a courtesy credit from PP (unlikely, with the chargeback), Paypal will definitely try to collect from the seller.

It's up to PP to decide... if the seller qualifies for PP seller protection against chargeback , then PP will cover the chargeback. IMO, from what you have told me, he does NOT. BUT.. that is PP's decision. And they may never tell you.
BUT.. your seller is enough of a hothead, that HE might tell you all about it. You may get a REALLY, REALLY, REALLY mad email in the future.

I saw a LV bag on ebay, listing got removed. (first clue I know!!)I contacted the seller and she said its 100% authentic and would be willing to meet me in person. While I was at the jersey shore on vacation we chose a spot and met in person. I looked over for a couple mins and everything appeared to be OK. I didnt want to risk paying cash so my BF offered to put it on his CC and purchased via paypal $927.00. I had recently taken all my CCs off of paypal so I could not put it on one of mine. I was so excited the whole way home as I have been wanting a Louis Vuitton Galliera forever and this one was in great shape(minus the one mark on the handle that the seller failed to mention! I got back to my moms shore house to examine the bag more and started having thoughts it might be fake. The heatstamp and everything had looked good to me, but when I rubbed my hand along the inside material, it was almost sticky, not smooth and soft like my other bags. I posted on auth this LV and it was confirmed it was fake. Contacted caroldiva and paid the $5 fee she also confirmed it was fake. Buyer not willing to take it back as she thinks I am going to scam her!? She wanted written proof FROM LV which we all know they dont do. Apparently an expert like Carol Diva means nothing to her. Supposedly it was puchased by her mother for xmas and anniversary and she doesnt think there is anyway its a fake. This was Sept 5th. Tried to open paypal dispute but it wasnt for 'goods' so I couldnt open one. (it was on a blackberry and we didnt realized we had not selected goods?) Contacted CC company and they are finally going to file a chargeback over a month later. I paid $60 for Carol Diva to write up the non-authentic letter and faxed it to the CC company. Currently waiting on sellers response in the resolution center which they have not responded to since it was opened on the 9th.

I'm sure she knows. Of course. She is a liar.

I have to be honest...it's kind of credulous to believe this wretch. You WANT to believe her. If you want a Louis Vuitton bag or any other designer bag for that matter, just go to the store or boutique at Neiman Marcus or Saks Fifth Avenue. They will help you with what you need.
