okay, my friend tried, but she cannot tighten them back...
as she said they do not work like screws...

i have called Balenciaga HK and they said it is not normal for those loose studs, and if i am sending it for repair, i will need to pay for the cost...

however, the seller still claims that BALNY said it is normal...and clearly she is not taking any responsibililty about this...and said if i care about the studs so much, i should have asked before i bid the bag...but i really thought tight studs are standard for Balenciaga Giant Bags???

and it seems ebay doesnt allow me to file a dispute on ebay but redirect my case to paypal straight away?

Try to file a SNAD (significantly not as described)and get your money back; if the studs are not fixable and this was not mentioned in the original listing (that they were loose at all), I would say this is a major flaw and you can get a refund. Follow instructions that ebay/PP gives you. Be sure you send the bag back with signature confirmation so you can prove they got it back. But I would CALL PP first and ask them how to proceed here.

It's not the buyer's responsibility to ask questions, to try to prise information out of the seller; it's the seller's responsibility to list any and all flaws.

Therefore, as she didn't mention that the bag had an issue, it's SNAD.

Then file w/ PP and be very specific as to the issue w/ the loose studs and that seller did NOT disclose same, and that BAL HK has said this is NOT normal and any repair would be at your expense. Request refund of item cost and shipping.

Well if any of those loose studs are in my area, could you send one over? I need a good back massage and if they are good looking too ... well just sayin'.

*ducks and runs*
My coworkers are looking at me strangely because I suddenly started laughing. Too funny!

OP: I wish you the best of luck with your case... If you can't get someone to repair it, best bet would probably be a SNAD. (Would it also be possible to check with seller to see if they'd cover the repair costs?)
