i totally agree that people need to search before they post a thread, i personally have seen way too many threads on customs and marking as a gift/undervalueing....they ALWAYS get heated and nasty !!

WTH?

Did someone appoint you tPF eBay Forum police and forget to send me a memo?

please don't question our members. If you have an issue w/ someone take it to PM. It's none of your business how anyone here makes their income, none of my business either.

Folks,

It may just be better for me to just change my name. I did not realize when I signed on that this might be such a irritating one to use.

Some also concluded that I worked for eBay and was a spy. Spying what I am not sure but.... none-the-less I have had to defend myself more than a few times.

When I change, I will probably be accused of hiding my "true identity" but it will eventually go away and not be a distraction to threads.

^why don't you PM Vlad, see if you can't come up w/ a solution?

LOL! Some spy you'd be, plastering your secret right there in your screen name!

Hey now. You should see me at the baccarat table. Well, maybe the dinner table, but....

Have not heard from Vlad about going undercover, so I guess I am still me at the moment.

Default Problems on Ebay ...
Hi - Hoping you can help me. I've been an Ebay membeer for over 10 years with more than 1800 feedbacks. When I worked as a fashion stylist, I listed on ebay 4-5 times a year and sold hundreds of thousands of designer clothes & accessories. I haven't listed on Ebay in about 1.5 years so have lost my powerseller status and they have prevented me from listing my designer items (to 4) until Trust & Safety reviews my account which I did after they told me why they wouldn't let me list my auctions.
I did list 4 authentic designer bags, one of which was sold with BIN. Some "expert" was questioning the authenticity of my bags which was ridiculous since I had all the right documentation and Ebay ended all 3 of the bags without even sending me an email.
Thurday, they ended an authentic ROLEX watch with photos of box original boxes & all the original the paperwork - Again no email from Ebay.
I have sent them over a dozen emails and they have not yet responded to any of them. Customer service says they have a 7 day queue - They have not only screwed up by ending my authentic items, I can't even continue to list a Dolce Gabbana top - DO YOU KNOW OR HAVE A PHONE NUMBER THAT MAY SPEED UP THIS PROCESS ?? I would really appreciate ANY way or any ideas on how I can speed up this process and also prove the authenticity of these items - PLEASE HELP !!
Thanks! You can email me directly at xxx

I am an eBay Educations Specialist, a Power Seller and a Trading Assistant, however I am also the sales manager of an international company that has nothing to do with eBay and is my main income.

I would like internet sales to be a retirement income. If you notice, I said internet sales, which means I sell on other venues as well. eBay is the main one at the moment but with all the changes within eBay, I am putting my eggs in more baskets.

Now with that said, maybe it is a good time for you to explain what your point was. It sounded a little accusatory and I am at a loss for why that would be the case.

Kastler, this is the READ ME thread regarding posting in the ebay section.

You should probably repost this in the main section if you want responses.

However, your Hermes / Chanel listings were posted in the Authentic This threads and members thought both were counterfeits as you are already aware.

If you do a search in the main forum you will find many posts on this subject.

Default Don't know how to search the site & post in the right place ...
Thank You for trying to help - I don't know much about this website and don't really know how to search the replies to my postings or even how to find the main posting. I really don't understand how it works or how to respond directly to a particular member. Any help would be appreciated.

Lunete, Bay guy, do you think this might be the place to fully disclose your status as a seller? Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like EBay is the main source of your income, being a trading assistant and all.

Are you looking down at the people who are selling on ebay with what you said?
Is that a bad thing If we're selling stuff on ebay? does that mean we're losers? or under achievers of some sort?
Please clarify. I for one feel insulted and I don't even sell that many items on ebay but I have friends who are running successful businesses on ebay and making a nice living. How is that bad?
