If you are planning to get your item on Ebay to get the cash back, go to Live.com.
Then, from live.com, do a search for "tree ring."
I have also had luck with searching for "vintage."

Then, the Ebay link should appear with the cashback logo next to it. Click on Ebay, and once you are in there, you can search for anything you want and it will come up if the purchase is eligible for cashback. Most of the BIN auctions will work.

Yes! ^

Also, if they use Auctiva on their listing they will need to turn off the Third Party Checkout... I have had to have sellers do this twice... and they have to re-list in order for it to take effect! it's kind of a pain but once they get through it it is fine... LOL

I'm having the same issue. I haven't paid yet, because I want to make sure I get my cash back! Okay, so I just purchased a new bag and it says the seller using PayPal THROUGH Auctivia--is this alright? I also have her email address, so I can send a payment directly to her email thru Paypal--what about that option? Or am I stuck asking her to turn off Auctivia? I've already bugged her a lot lately, I'd like to not bug her again, if possible. :P Thnks!!

live.com cashback will not work with 3rd party checkout.

Do sellers have to add this as an option? I know I have seen posts of folks telling buyers to make certain they see the icon. I looked again today in the catagory and I saw one item that had a banner on the posting about the cashback, but none of the others I saw made mention.

There is something I am interested in that I tried and failed to get from Saks for the sale. Even though the person bought it on the sale last week at Saks they are asking over two times the sale price so I won't feel as bad buying it from them if I get the casback.
Here's a good tutorial on how to make cashback work: http://reviews.ebay.com/Use-Live-Com...00000009458681

When you click buy it now it will tell you if seller is using third party checkout and if you get the discount. If they are do not click buy it now again. You can ask the seller to turn off the third party checkout if they are using auctiva vendio. They have to revise the listing . I use auctiva but I now turn off third party so buyers can use live. You cannot send a payment directly to her because you would not be going through ebay to pay through paypal and live would not pick up the discount.

Great useful information here.

As for actually doing it you need to make sure you go through live and don't go to 3rd parties checkouts or you won't get the cashback. The money will then be returned after some time

It's not because of the bag.

quick question...

I'm waiting on 2 cash back amounts. 1 of them says I can request it in X days, the other says it will automatically go into my PP account, no request necessary.

Why the difference?

Originally, once the money became available from MSN, PayFoe would send you an email telling you that the cash back "is on its way" and that it would take another two weeks for it to be deposited in your PayFoe account. However, this started changing a couple of months ago, with people getting it much sooner--sometimes fewer days, sometimes right away. When you get the email from the Foe, you will know.

Nowadays, the lastest thing, is Instant Cashback, which MSN is giving out for certain transactions. So far no word from MSN regarding the criteria the company is using to issue instant cashbacks for some transactions and not for others.
